Interior Heavy Equipment Operator College (IHE School) is Canada's largest school for heavy equipment operators (HEO), with three training schools located in BC and Alberta and a roving mobile division, too. Since 2005, we offer year-round weekly training on the use of rubber tire backhoes, loaders, graders, dozers, articulated rock trucks and excavators.

IHE trains on industry-sized iron commonly found on real job sites. Get Trained and Get Working! Sign up today and you can start a high paying career playing in the dirt in just 3 to 12 weeks. All students in 2021 receive a $400 in-store shopping spree at Mark's Work Wearhouse to get outfitted with Dakota work boots, and other safety, personal protection gear required to be safe and comfortable while learning at IHE.
Learn the safe and effective operation of various sizes of Excavators, the Loader, the Dozer, the Grader, the Articulated Rock Truck, and the Rubber Tire Backhoe. Throughout the 12 weeks of training, students will receive 285 hours of machine operation shifts as well as online instructional theory using educational standard software, Moodle, plus take part each day in live online meetings with instructors and students utilizing Microsoft Teams.
