Jean's Gallery-Arts & Picture
M. Jean Lagace was born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario. Since 1977, she has made her home in Tiverton, a quaint community in the Municipality of Kincardine. Since 1998, Jean's Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing has operated out of her Tiverton home. Her interest in framing started when she began to get serious about her own art.

Rather than travel and have someone else do the framing, she began an intense study into the art and science of framing. Located in beautiful Tiverton, Ontario, Jean's Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing offers a wide range of original artwork, as well as custom framing and canvas stretching services.
Services
Custom picture framing adds a special touch to cherished artworks, photos, needlework, and objects. Custom-framed works are especially popular for home redecorating projects in the Bruce County and Port Elgin areas. When planning your frame, Jean will ask questions about the item being framed, its planned location and how it can complement the design of the room in question.
Even if a poster is tacked tightly to a wall, gravity will eventually create unsightly wrinkles. Jean's Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing offers dry mounting services to preserve posters, creating perfect works of art that will look stunning for many years to come. Dry mounting involves taking a poster or large photograph and affixing it to a sturdy substrate.
Object framing is the art of placing three-dimensional objects into a glass-encased frame. This not only protects the item or items, but makes it easy to display in a variety of settings. Nearly any object can be professionally arranged and framed in a shadow box. To see how your objects can be framed, call Jean's Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing in Tiverton today!
Reframing services are helpful in instances where your interior design tastes have changed or the framing materials have degraded over time. Having your item reframed also allows the option to preserve the item for posterity by using archival-grade materials and UV-filtering glass. You can also choose from a multitude of custom mounting designs and frame styles.
Jean's Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing blocks all types of needlework. For those unfamiliar with the practice, "blocking" involves the process of squaring the cloth to be framed so it is perfectly even and stretched on all sides. This ensures your needlework piece will not bunch, sag, or droop after it has been set in a frame.
