We are social and individual beings with cognitive, emotional, neurophysiological, somatic, and spiritual forms of intelligence. In real experience these are intricately interwoven. When in a therapeutic process we work in all of these dimensions. In general we use mindfulness and reflection to first build presence and awareness so that we can proceed toward intentionally adapting, transforming, and living deeply and in healthy ways.

Your individual experience and life story is the ground for the work we do. The world we are living in is crossing the portal into a new era. As we collectively open our minds and hearts to experience and reflect upon the fullness of our interconnectivity with and in this world we are each called to look deeply at ourselves and our way of perceiving our place in this world, as individuals, as a society, and as a species.

I have walked many trails, sat with many teachers, learned from many companions on the path, including clients and students, and I have explored many dimensions so far in this life in my search for truth and wisdom. I believe life is meaningful and complex, at times painful and traumatic, and often beautiful in how it all unfolds.
I work with people to reflect fully and intentionally to develop mindfulness, presence, equanimity, emotional stability, embodiment, interconnectivity, and attunement with their selves, others and the lifeworld. Cognitive and Narrative therapies for development of healthy worldviews and life stories by which we live.
This process is easier and can be less painful if we practice reflection and bring mindful awareness of who we have been, who we are now, how our life is changing at this point and who we would intentionally become, and where we would best practice acceptance.

Mindful reflection is easier if we sit and talk, feel, develop insight and understanding, imagine possibilities, and make peace with events and processes, ourselves, other people and life itself. So people who come to see me are reflecting on the ever changing experience of life unfolding. They are looking for how to transform change and suffering into well-being and peace.

Wonderful combination of evidence based neuro psychology background, balanced with an appreciation and touch of eastern and meditative approaches too... on top of years of experience and being an excellent listener.
Norah has very been very helpful. Highly recommended.

An absolutely exceptional Psychologist. I cannot recommend Dr. Trace enough. She provided me with ample tools in the very first session to begin improving my life. I feel grateful to have had her recommended to me as she is the EXACT psychologist I have been looking for. Deep wisdom and a profound understanding of psychology and the ways in which everything is connected. If you want to make changes in your life and improve yourself, I cannot recommend Dr. Trace highly enough!

I am filing a complaint against this woman with the Board of Psychologists. She's unreliable, doesn't return phone calls and doesn't show up for appointments. She missed our second appointment, I waited for over an hour in her her office, where there wasn't even a receptionist to help inquire as to what the issue might be. I called her several times while in the office waiting for her, all calls went to voicemail. It took her 10 days to return my call at which time she said it was my fault for having the appointment time incorrect! Which I did not and that still doesn't explain taking 10 days to
