All Floatplane tours depart from the Atleo Air dock located at the 50 Wingen Lane, Tofino. We hope to be able to offer individual seats on scheduled flights soon. This flight is a quick and beautiful way to explore your surroundings and gain a whole new perspective. Spectacular aerial views of the local beaches, Lennard Island Lighthouse, and some of the many islands surrounding the area including Meares and Vargas Islands.

We booked an extended coastal helicopter flight with a remote beach landing to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Erica at the Atleo office was super helpful and kept us updated on conditions as the weather before our flight was marginal. Our pilot Blake greeted us as we arrived at the hanger, gave us a thorough safety briefing and made sure our PFD’s were properly fitted.
After taking off, we headed north along the coast as far as Rafael Point on Flores Island. Our pilot looked at several places to land for us to explore, but big waves made it unsafe to set down at several of his preferred

I chartered a helicopter here on Monday July 8pm for a quick 15 minute rip of the sunset. With the cellphone reception being bad in Tofino, my GPS routed me all over the place on my way to the hangar, and I was late to the helicopter tour I booked. Luckily the staff is very nice and accommodating. When I got there we were up within minutes. Our guide was amazing and extremely professional. We saw sea lions, bears, and whales on our helicopter tour, as well as flying over the beautiful beaches of Tofino. The pricing is very fair for a helicopter charter. Hope to be back soon. My fiancé and I took the Seafari float plane tour last week and had a blast! Our pilot Sinclair dispelled all of my flying nerves and made us feel very comfortable for our first float plane experience. The beautiful tour of the coast and surrounding areas included wildlife sightings and flyovers at other cultural and historic points of interest. In addition to being a great pilot, Sinclair is a great tour guide! He was informative and happy to answer our questions so we also learned a lot which was an unexpected bonus. This is clearly the second choice in Tofino. Cancelled our long awaited Hot springs trip the day of! First they called in the morning and said some parts for the aircraft were delayed. Then they called later and said a pilot was out with an unspecified "illness". Mind you this was the morning of our scheduled tour for that afternoon! The lady who answered the phone in the office was very condescending and clueless when I pressed for more information and help. Thankfully Tofino Air was able to cheerfully accommodate us! Call Tofino Air first!

Nothing more fun than disappointed children weaping because the trip we had planned for months fell apart as we were informed by phone 5mjn before departure the pilot was calling it off due to 'weather'.
Had planned a day trip to hotsprings. They went to bed early with anticipation of the next day, got up extra early and were totally ready to go. Arrived at float plane base. Visibility was +10sm, light wind with 5000ft ceilings, with some mist but totally VFR day and it remained that way during the entire window of the trip, in fact at one point the sun was out through broken cloud

We had fantastic time flying with Atleo Air out of Tofino and up to Hot Springs Cove. Though there was too much fog in the morning, they were able to re-work the schedule to make things work for the afternoon. On both flights our pilot looked for and spotted whales and made sure we had a good view from the air. The pilot was helpful, informative and made the whole family feel welcome. He was a few minutes late in picking us up in the afternoon, but I know they were juggling a lot of other flights due to the morning weather. A truly great way to the see the coast!
