Benny and his talented crew at Metro Wide paving were absolutely wonderful. After a nightmare situation with another company, they came to my rescue and did a fantastic job. They were professional, responsive, reasonable and showed quality and detail in their work. The crew were respectful of the property, from putting their water bottles in recycling to sweeping all walkways and the garage spotless. I will definitely be recommending Metro Wide and using them for future projects.

Aug 2018 Benny gave us an estimate and reassured us that weeds would be addressed
Nov 2018 crew came in the morning, as promised, to do the job
May 2019 weeds sprouting. I WhatsApped Joe and he sent someone to blow torch the weeds / plug the holes in the asphalt. More weeds sprouted throughout the summer
Oct 2019 Joe sent 2 men to again torch the holes and to lay a layer of sealer on the driveway
May 2020 more weeds. Again WhatsApped Joe. He said he would send someone in the Fall.
Oct 2020 I WhatsApped Joe that there were cracks appearing. He said that he would take care of that next Spring.

We signed a contract to have our driveway torn up, then resurfaced and paved in Sept 2020, and we told that by July 1 2021, the entire job would be complete. This timeline was completely accurate. The driveway looks great! Communication with this company was fast and efficient. It was easy to get a hold of someone to talk to when we had questions throughout this process. Thank you!

We received several quotes to excavate and pave our driveway and someone suggested we contact Metro Wide, which we did. Jason came to our home promptly and told us in detail what the process would be. He gave us an estimate which was considerably lower than the other companies and followed up with a detailed written contract which we accepted.
The excavation crew arrived on schedule and did an excellent job of removing the old asphalt and grading the driveway. After the base had time to settle, the crew returned as scheduled and completed the ashphalt application. We highly recommend this company

I want to say thanks to Metro Wide for their great work yesterday. They worked diligently to get the job done in one day. Considering the size and complexity, I was very impressed. The drive looks great! I want to thank Jason for coming out a few times prior to the job. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable able this major purchase. Jason has no integrity. I called him on few occasions, didnt show up to either appointment. Dont go by the homestars 90% score, they are buying their reviews. half are unknown name address. just drive down crown Cres Bradford they paved my friends last year end of 2019. she is fuming, indents all over, uneven edges. massive deep roller lines seen few other jobs they've done. 90% garbage

Joe and his team did an amazing job. High Quality work. I asked for the grading to be done in such a way that rain-fall would pool in the catch basin. They did that very well and now I will not have water pooling at my foundation. Very happy with the work and professionalism.

This company showed up at 7:30am Saturday on a quiet residential street and started a paving job. Bylaw is 9am. When asked to stop they were rude, talked back to the people who asked them to stop and laughed at us. Many neighbors called Toronto by-law, police and the company. A senior guy came on site and did he thought the bylaw was 8am. BS. If you’re in the business you know the bylaws. He also started arguing. Extremely unprofessional company.

Originally, set up a request for an estimate by a handful of paving contractors. Jason, came right on time and measured our narrow amd odd-shaped driveway. He meticulously measured each section and drew a clear drawing with measurements and square footage required to complete the job. No other estimator from the 5 local paving companies managed to demonstrate this level of quality. If an estimator can't show this exactness then it leaves the homeowner questioning the level of quality/commitment they will receive. One estimate showed a circle with no set of dimensions or square footage. Just
