About Us Report

Coffee connoisseurs do not just reside in cities. We've known this since 1991 when Mountain Blends first opened. Back then Canmore was a very different place, but the desire for fresh roasted coffee in the Bow Valley remains as strong today as it did back then. Our roasterie quickly morphed into a community hub and so it remains today with dedicated customers of 29 years popping by to grab a much needed quality cup of java or bag of beans.

Our coffee of choice for many years. We drink quite a bit of coffee and have tried many blends from BC and AB but nothing comes close to Mountain Blends. We usually order online and their shipping process is fast and reliable.

Excellent, locally roasted coffee. Beans are roasted daily. We drove 16 hours from WPG to get this coffee. They serve brewed and iced coffee as well. Served coffee is brewed to order.

Finally went in after months of living nearby. Staff always smiling from all memories of walking by - still smiling, and really friendly when I finally went in! Remembered my face by visit 2 and order by visit 3. I like the coffee bean and they haven't messed up the almond milk once! I have noticed all the food prices are better than numerous cafes in the local surrounds - yet to try but the pricing is attractive. Wish I'd gone in sooner!

I popped in for a quick coffee, and ended up having an experience. The place is fascinating, with the roaster right there, immaculate jars of beans, and the ever present laughter of the staff. The coffee here is fresh roasted, and taste is glorious. No rough edges, just smooth, satisfying blends to make every coffee drinker happy.
Worth coming in off the highway, and grabbing a coffee for you, and pick up some beans or ground to take with you.
I am the most difficult to please - I drink decaf espresso, and I'm fussy. This is my roaster from now on, and I live in Kelowna.
