The Belvoir Co-operative Nursery School will create an environment in which parents and teachers work together to provide quality care and early childhood education. The needs, rights and concerns of the children, parents and teachers will be given equal emphasis to create an atmosphere conducive to learning.
Services
With a passion for children, I embarked on the adventure of a teaching profession. I took time off from learning while I raised a family of 6 children. During this time, I continued to work with children by running a home child care for 20 years. In my spare time, I was also a Sparks and Brownie leader for Girl Guides of Canada for 18 years and also a foster mom for CAS for 10 years.
Our objective is to establish and maintain a high quality early learning experience for pre-school aged children and to implement, manage and supervise a carefully prepared program for the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of pre-school aged children. A child learns most easily when he/she is motivated, when he/she is doing, and when we are consistent in our approach to learning.
Welcome to Belvoir Co-Operative Nursery School, where your child will learn and grow in "PILES"! Belvoir is a fun and rewarding way to share in your child's first school experience, and we are looking forward to welcoming your child to our classroom! Our Cooperative Nursery School welcomes children ages 2 to 5, in a multi-aged play-based classroom.
Our Before and After School Program follows the same holiday and PD Day schedule as the Thames Valley District School Board. The registration package for the upcoming 2021 - 2022 School year is attached below. Packages are now being accepted. A spot will not be held until the completed package is received and registration fee paid.
Belvoir Kids Camps welcomes children from JK to 12 years of age. Our camp's are tailored to the age and interests of the children. Through rich hands-on activities, cooperative games, and indoor exploration children are engaged throughout the day. Daily walking trips (weather permitting) around the community and gross motor play outdoors in our natural playground helps to promote positive social interactions and exploration of our environment.

The ladies that work at the daycare are great. The administration not so much. Most of the time it takes days to get a response from them. The administer has another job so replies are limited. The daycare says it is open at 600am but on numerous occasions I have had to wait for the employees to open at 5 to 10 after 600am. I do not recommend this daycare.
