Capital Chimney Service

Would never hire again. Worst mistake ever. We hired Hugh the owner of Capital Chimney Service at the beginning of May to fix the flashing around our chimney as it was leaking. Hugh was the one that did the work. He seemed very knowledgeable, advised me a lifetime warranty on the cap and warranty on the flashing until we get the shingles… replaced as he cannot guarantee what the next person does, made sense to me. And the price was too good to be true. I should have known then.
He fixed the cap of my chimney first. He had to do it 3 times as it kept cracking. I put it off as his young helper

Quoted a repair on a chimney, for our senior mother. Then said they would do the work in a specific day. Never returned phone calls couldn’t leave a message as mail box was full. When finally got hold of them said work was completed. Work was never completed they never showed up and continued to lie regarding it. Then never returned calls regarding work not being done. The repair they quoted was also wrong. No company can do the repair for the price they quoted, repair will cost double what they said.

I made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday of the same week. 15 minutes after the appointment time I called to see if there had been a delay. There had been a mix up somewhere along the way and they didn't have my appointment at all. The gentleman I spoke with was very apologetic and asked if it would work for someone to come in 2 hours from then.
