Highland Park Funeral Centre

Since 1850, the Little Lake Cemetery Company has been a non-profit and non-denominational cemetery. It was the first cemetery company in Canada to be established under the administration of a volunteer board of Lot Owners. Little Lake Cemetery and Highland Park Cemetery (completed in 1964) have provided full burial services to the community of Peterborough and its outlying region for over one hundred and fifty years.

We offer all traditional cemetery services including ground burial of caskets and cremated remains, as well as placement of cremated remains into niches. The crematorium located at Highland Park Cemetery has served to meet the needs of families who choose cremation. More recently, we are pleased to offer Highland Park Funeral Centre located at Highland Park Cemetery.

Our state-of-the-art, fully accessible facility offers excellent value for every budget, and can meet all your funeral needs in one convenient location. The Highland Park Funeral Centre has a multi-faith gathering hall where your service of choice can be held. Comfortable seating for 150 it is easily expanded to 300 plus with all guests having the ability to view the service within the same room.

Since 1850, Little Lake Cemetery has operated as a non-profit and non-denominational organization. The cemetery is surrounded by the quiet waters of Little Lake and the Otonabee River. For over160 years, Little Lake Cemetery has continued to offer a range of burial options, which currently includes traditional grave spaces, cremation graves and cremation columbariums which hold cremation urns.
