Services
Our online reservation system will reserve you a table for a set length of time, depending on the number of guests in your party. If you would like to change the length of your reservation, simply reply to your confirmation email or phone the restaurant and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request.
Please enjoy this menu of cocktails inspired by our favourite flavours from the Fertile Crescent. This wine is a blend of classic Cava varietals, Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada vinified following the traditional method. The must is fermented with native yeasts, and the dosage is less than 2g/l of sugar, hence the denomination "nature".
Typically our chefs will design the menu on behalf of the party, but we are happy to accommodate requests for specific dishes from our menu to be served if possible. We are happy to create specific dishes for individuals who have dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, etc).
If you would like to make a booking, or if you have any additional questions regarding family style service or a bookout, please contact the restaurant at 780-757-4100 or email eat@woodworkyeg.com.

Woodwork is a must go to if your downtown, from the moment you walk in. Instantly you are introduced by wonderful warm ambiance and charm - from the decor and to the dim lighting. It’s a cocktail lovers dream and well thought out menu. Staff were welcoming and fully informed and expect to watch them work magic behind the wood - with open kitchen concept. I came for oysters and cocktails with a friend and I’ll definitely coming back again.

We went to try the new drinks (The fertile Cresent, middle eastern inspired). As someone who makes a drinks Turkish coffee often I loved the idea, the execution though was unfortunately missed.
The place looks amazing as usual, great music, perfect lighting, and the old fashioned was good.
The service is usually okay at best, good at checking up on you and getting you seated but it lacks that connection that makes yoi want to come back, or specifically request someone. The fact they just put the cheese plate down and walked away (there are 4 different types of cheese, what kinds of cheese are

I have enjoyed this location in the past, and understand that covid adaptations play a role in the dynamics of all restaurants. A few months ago when in dining was allowed back for a time, my wife and I dressed up and made a reservation at Woodwork as she had never been there and I spoke highly of it. We made the reservation confirmed on line, with text reminders of our upcoming date. We arrived after paying for parking at the library, and found a dark restaurant. A notice was on front saying pick up only with a phone number. We called the number to only receive an answering service of a disjointed

Such great staff. Tasty cocktails and tapas. Love going here whenever I attend the theater. I finally returned here to enjoy indoor dinning with a couple of friends. Truly a delight. Staff is still amazing and asked the bartender to make us a couple cocktails that were not on the list and he totally rocked and the parameters we had set and served some very tasty drinks. Food was tasty and totally enjoyed the experience.

Can't say enough positive about our experience, absolutely fantastic and quick service, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, great food and amazing drinks. We asked for suggestions on a drink and Steve the bartender gave us something he created which turned out super good. Highly recommend checking them out.

I'm a 200plus day a year hotel guy with an appreciation for restaurants that do well regardless of repute. Dive bars to five star. This place was raves about by colleagues and so I gave it a try. Walked in and was impressed by the atmosphere. Dark and pseudo sexy. Music was overly loud and dance club. Stood for a few minutes until the bartender came and sat me. Nice bench table. Took me drink order ... a house old fashioned. It was fantastic. Perfect citrus and boozy balance. Then I sat ... and sat ... 45 min later the bartender came and asked me if I wanted another ? Nope thanks but I would

If you want to drink, eat, and talk, here's the perfect place to do it. Drinks are fantastic, food is excellent, and the people in the setting are fun to watch. Our server knew more about the selections and their preparation than I would tend to need, but you can't fault a guy for being thorough. Woodwork is beautifully furnished and decorated, with an enviable "library" of spirits behind the bar. Three of us shared a charcuterie plate and a couple of cocktails each, and went back out into the snow feeling well cared for.

Been here multiple times, wanted to love it but I couldn't! I was very confused when reading all the great reviews because I found myself experiencing the complete opposite. The menu is quite unique, however, everything was super salty and nothing in particular was notable. It's a great place to order some light appetizer and have cocktails but I wouldn't come here for the food.

A friend came from out of town, so I wanted to take him to a local first class restaurant. He has some dietary restrictions and asked for some options as the menu did not have anything that meet his restrictions. They came up with a special one off dish that he absolutely loved.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the service was excellent. I will be taking my wife here for a date night soon.
Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy this little gem of a restaurant.

My company recently moved downtown and Woodwork sent us all little "welcome" messages with a 20% off coupon inviting us to stop by and try them, so a group of us tried to book a table in November to check them out after work. We quickly discovered that (1) they are small and fill up quickly, so book a few weeks in advance; (2) the folks you talk to if you phone up can't even make a booking for any large number of people (we had 8, which is large but not crazy huge) and I was told the only option was to email; (3) it took 2 days to even get an answer from the email and that answer

Visiting from Vancouver on a work trip and decided to pop in for a bite with my colleague. We were first greeted quickly but quickly was told it'll take a few minutes to seat. Looking around, there were only 3 tables seated. The rest of them empty so I'm not sure what we were waiting for. The cocktail menu was pretty good but it's quite pricey.
Onto the food. Started with steak tartare and the polenta cake. The steak tarts was pretty good. Having a full egg sitting on top was a bit intimidating compared to the small quail egg I'm used to seeing but it wasn't too much

Hubs and I came here for our anniversary celebration. From start to finish, the service and food were exceptional!
Reservations were booked easily online via OpenTable. I noted we were coming in to celebrate a special occasion and requested a cozy spot.
We arrived at 5pm, were seated promptly in an ideal spot in the smaller table beside the bar.
Our server, Sarah (sp?) was fantastic from the get-go. She was knowledgeable, made great recommendations when asked, and most importantly, friendly and not once did we feel rushed.
Complimentary glasses of sparkling wine were served to us along with

I had been meaning to hit this place up, so what better time than a birthday dinner?
If you haven't been this is an amazing room, you gotta go. Very narrow very tight and very intimate. The vibe is incredible. So upbeat and modern I felt immediately at ease. They have a liquor wall that is as inclusive and incredible as any you will ever see. We sat down at a two top that has a foot of clearance between you and the next table on either side. This could be a problem if you want more privacy but for us it was great.
For a snack before dinner we had these amazing Parmesan fries with crispy

Husband and I went for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We have been hunting for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle for the past six years and had only just found out that Woodwork had some.
He finally tasted it and said it was just how he imagined (so the hunt continues)... huge thrill for him.
The drink menu was amazing - tons of cocktails and wine options.
We shared the frites and brussel sprouts to start. The frites were covered in parmesan and delicious; I could have eaten three orders.
I ordered the ragu. The thick pasta noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful.

Went with a friend for some small plates and drinks.
The service was excellent as we were seated quickly and given enough time to see what's on the menu.
The drinks that we got was excellent but was a bit disappointed with the food as I found it a bit bland and my friend agreed. If I had to pick the brussel sprouts was my favorite followed by the fried chicken. The chicken was really tender and juicy inside. The beef tartar was ok...
Will definitely come back again for more cocktails in the future.

Great cocktails! They have a pretty good selection of yummy drinks for you to try.
The charcuterie board here is awesome - it's a large portion and has a balanced set of flavours. A split it with a friend and the both of us were feeling comfortably full by the end of it.
It is a darker space, which I wasn't a huge fan of - made me feel kind of vampire-y. The tables also felt quite close together which definitely lost the illusion of privacy.
I liked it, but I didn't love it. With inconvenient parking and the need for reservations, I don't see myself coming back for a while

We went to this place after debating what we wanted for dinner.
Be mindful that this place offers fine dining with a dress code and prices to match.
There were 8 people in our group and the place accommodated us with separate bills.
The menu offered a variety of appetisers, mains and desserts. However, most ducked ordering any drinks as even pop was expensive.
One person ordered the Mac & Cheese appetiser. It had truffle oil and aged cheddar. It was very good but $11.00 for a cup seemed a bit rich.

They have some of the best Old Fashioned drinks in the city. You can also grab some small bites. Most important the decor is just cool. There's also a really nice touch of smoked wood from the smoker they have in the kitchen.
The lighting is dark and there's mostly booths which makes going there feel cozy and intimate. It's a romantic place.
We had the stick toffee pudding and some drinks. They have some fancy sofas which is nice for a non-alcoholic drink option. The sticky toffee had a light sprinkling of sea salt which complimented the richness of the sponge cake with the toffee

It's easy to see why this place comes highly recommended by friends and online reviews. There is an impressive bar with an equally impressive cocktail menu. The food menu is simple but we liked everything we tried. And the service was great throughout the night.
To start the night, pick a cocktail. I had the Whiskey Sour which has been on the menu since Day 1 and it worked perfectly with the Drunken Bread appetizer. The bread comes on a hot skillet, tastes like the heavy traditional flavors of escargot and melts in your mouth.
We had the Bear & The Flower Pork Chop and the Housemade

Giving this place a 3 to be nice but it was really more of a 2.5/5.
I feel like I am one of the minority here who wouldn't rate this place 4-5/5 stars. I just was not as impressed as everyone else. I think the reason is that I wasn't having cocktails. It is clear to me that the selling point of this place is the cocktails... but we don't drink! So when we try a place out we have to gauge it completely on the food instead of the drink menu.
