In a quiet location so okay for an overnight stay at a pinch, any longer then look elsewhere. Very old and tired run down motel. Stained headboard, dirty sheets, threadbare blankets, moth-eaten blackout drapes

Good location - close to everything in Long Sault. Check in was easy, the lady at the desk was professional. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. You can't control the temperature in the room but it was a very warm day and I was comfortable with the AC as it was set.

Friendly staff.
Constable clean beds and bathroom.
T.V .fridge. kettle.and microwave in the room ..
Shops within walking distance. Subway and timmy Horton .also a petrol station with a large selection of snacks and drinks .
Even if you ask the owner for a bucket of maze .It was $10 a bucket of maze .
Fishing the long sault partway with some good carp swims there .
Carp respond to pack bait with maze or anything yellow on a hair rig and a 2 oz inline sinker works very well.

I accidentally booked the room twice and the owners helped me with the painful process of getting Priceline on the phone and getting the second reservation canceled. Thank you Gina! Also the room was clean and the view was gorgeous.

Good for the price. Decor is odd but rooms clean and beds comfortable enough. Could hear everything in owners house from our unit. Good for an overnight stay if your passing through.

Quiet, clean, good for an overnight stay.
Stayed in the King room for one night. Very clean, enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave, bed was a little stiff.
Very quick check in and check out, can't hear into the rooms next door.
However very basic. Wouldn't recommend for long stays

This is NOT a pet friendly hotel!!! Female owner said right away that she hates dogs. Then we went through a lot of instruction as to what furniture our 2 Shi tzus would be allowed on (NONE). We had already been travelling with our pups for 2 weeks with no hassle anywhere. This seemed over the top for us so we chose to move on to Cornwall, only 10 minutes away, to a truly pet-friendly Comfort Inn where they welcomed us & our pets with open arms. Also, we truly hope the rooms at the Lion were cleaner inside than the facility looked from the outside. Maybe we were lucky they weren't really pet friendly

A basic motel. Quiet, nice staff. Problems were the shampoo packet hard to open. Used teeth. Soap packet much easier. Surrounding area very nice. This added to score.
