When we access your attic for a rewire, we move the insulation and staple all the wires very neatly and then reinstall your insulation.
We use Square D panels which is considered one of the industry's best. We always install the largest breaker capacity panel available at no extra charge which gives you plenty of room for future expansion. We remove your entire old panel structure and start fresh with new framing, R22 insulation, vapour barrier and plywood base.
We take pride in the work we do. Sykes Electric will always install plugs in proper locations and not put plugs, lights or switches that have poor placement. We phoned Sykes Electric to get an estimate on removing our Knob and Tubing wiring, Were both seniors and have been trying for the last two years to go away on a winter vacation, but now with Covid around we have had to canceled our vacation each year. I talked to my wife and we agreed that now that we have a little extra money we didnt use for vacation that we should look into getting the wiring in our house upgraded. Sykes Electric replaced all the 1939 wiring in our 2000 sq ft 2 story home
and installed a new 200 amp panel. They installed hard wired smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to meet today's codes, and added GFI plugs in the bathrooms. They were competitively priced, communicative, prompt, and considerate. Four men were in our home for 6 days to complete the job. They were polite, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Holes in the walls were all neatly patched when the electrical work was done. They do everything that their advertising says they will do. I would recommend them highly

We had originally booked with another company to remove knob and tube, but they put us off for 3 weeks. We called Sykes Electric and they were here the same day for a quote!
