My family had a horrible experience adopting and unfortunately re-homing a dog through this vet. They were unprofessional when we went to pick up, didn't even know who the dog was (required a picture to ID him) then when we unfortunately had to re-home him through the society they told the new foster lies about the dog and almost lost his chance at a new home.
My family has dealt with them twice now and been extremely unimpressed. Also have heard a very negative experience from a friend. After seeing so many negative reviews on here, dating back years, with clearly no change I needed to add

Dr. Renu and her team are absolutely phenomenal, our boy had PU surgery and needed longer term post op care as he'd had alot of complications prior to receiving surgery prolonging his recovery, he had to stay an entire week, but when we got our boy back we finally had our rambunctious little trouble maker following us around the house again as though nothing had happened. They truly went the extra mile making sure everything was on track, they gave us updates daily whether we randomly checked in with them to ease our minds for the day or Dr. Renu was calling us with a full update. My dog Lexi became very sick this January, she had a major infection and a large lump on her neck. I took my dog to three different doctor's. Which costed me thousands of dollars all treatments were from these doctors were unsuccessful in curing my dog along with no formal diagnosis being provided these previous doctors had no idea what they were doing. My dog became more and more sick. She stopped eating and walking and the last veterinarian I took my dog to recommended putting my dog down. Which I was against. I brought in my dog Lexi to Apollo

I have taken two of my cats there, both for UTIs. The first one they charged $400 and the second one, only a year later, they charged $1100! There was no difference between the two situations. Of course in the moment when I was upset I agreed to the recommended tests because I was worried and scared. When I got in my car I called my sister who runs an animal rescue to tell her about the situation. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Renu and her team. They are absolute angels. Professional, wonderful to deal with and overall superb. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, with my beloved animals. They have worked miracles on our little Kona- it was only because of Dr Renu and her team that she is thriving and doing wonderful! Every animal should be so lucky to have her as their doctor. I brought my dog in for a $30 consultation to look at my dogs teeth. Dr Renu told me that my dog had gingivitis and needed dental cleaning and she could do
It that same day for $265. Then came an essential blood work for $240. I love my dog and wanted her to be safe so I agreed. I picked Maggie up 6 hours later and that night she coughed a lot through the night. I called the vet in the morning and I was told that this wasn't normal and to bring her in. I brought her in 3-4 hours later and I explained to dr. renu that the coughing

Dr. Renu and her team are excellent. They take care of my cat Simba like he is their own. They are so gentle and patient and caring and answer all of my questions. I cannot recommend their hospital enough. After picking Simba up today I found out that they also work with rescues that bring animals from Mexico and Texas. Very cool.

Weary of prices however the assistant at front desk was very informative and patient. My ex brought his dog there before cause she ate tinfoil and was lathargic. Brought her there and she seemed better after only staying a couple hours. All together if you an emergencey I would recommend this vet ! :)

I cannot express how amazing this hospital is. My puppy Charlie got hit by a car on July 7/2021 and was deemed to be close to dead on 9:00pm that day. I went to another hospital which kept him overnight and did some tests for $1,600 and only some antibiotics. Let's also address the fact that I'm a 19yro girl who is in full time school and 2 jobs, and this was a crazy amount for me. I had to pick up charlie the next day to take him somewhere else because that hospital closed @8am, he was still not deemed out of the woods. I went to boundary bay hospital and they put him on an oxygen mask for 11hrs

Awesome doctor and staff! Adopted our dog who arrived from the US with "dry eyes" according to his papers, which also showed several months of doctor's visits. Dr. Renu took one look at him and immediately knew it was not dry eyes but Entropion (a medical condition where the eyelid grows inward). Surgery was immediately scheduled followed by very efficient post surgery care & check ups! Now we have a happy dog enjoying his perfect eyesight everyday!! Doctor and staff would always welcome our baby dog with open arms which warmed our family's hearts!! Thank you to the Apollo

This vet almost killed my dog. Took my dog in here for a foot injury. He was a rescue so we weren't sure if he had vaccines or not. The dog came home with parvo and almost died. Any vet clinic is very careful with parvo! They quarantine the dog and clean everything dog touches with bleach and water. This vet does none of this! I'm positive they infect your dog with parvo when it is there for something else....so you bring you dog back as it is sick. Money scam! And dog killers

This vet hospital is terrible so I wish I could give it 0 stars. I had the terrible misfortune of dealing with them because of the Black Dog Rescue society. The adoption agency charges you for the spay/neuter when you adopt. They work with Apollo Animal Hospital. The adoption agency tells you to take your dog to them. This animal hospital is staffed by unprofessional and rude people. The doctor has a terrible attitude. My sister and I took my adopted puppy to this hospital for spay on September 7th, 2019. I live on the Island and called around for a quote to get my dogs broken molar taken out (one tooth). I am on a budget, live pay cheque to pay cheque. I called 5 vet and was quoted $800 to $1400 and I could not afford that. I was told about Dr. Sood and Apollo Animal hospital by a friend so I called and explained that I could not afford a lot. Dr. Sood cared more for the welfare of my dog than the money. She made it work within my budget. I paid less including the ferry back and forth than the lowest quote I got here on the Island. They need to be shut down! Please please if you love your animal do not bring them here. All they care about is your money and not your animal's well being. It's so sad to see a place like this still in business. When I tried to voice my concerns to the owner she just hung up on me and gave me a sob sorry about how she has to pay her bills. I can live with the fact that they scammed me over $100, but I will not tolerate mistreatment of my cat. I have been looking for a kind caring and honest vet in Cloverdale after some previous bad experiences with other vets. A number of people had recommended Dr Renu to me so I gave her a try and was not disappointed. I have a very timid little rescue dog who will shake uncontrollably when he is scared. Dr. Renu is the friendliest & caring vet I have encountered so far! She soothed & cared for my pet as if her own when I brought my dog in. She made her comfortable and relaxed, when usually my dog shivers/whines & tries to run away at even the smell of the vet. She explained everything she was doing as she examined my dog, & was trying to give me the best prices possible for all of the things my dog needed. My dog also peed on the floor, & instead of getting mad she used the pee off the ground for a urine sample & could tell by the smell that my dog had a fever.
