The pork belly I got was crazy expensive (double what it was worth) and was of mediocre quality. Most of the fat was trimmed off for no apparent reason which affected my ability to cook it how I had planned.
I recommend ordering exactly what you want ahead of time so what happened to me doesn't happen to you.
Also purchased what we thought was an interesting drink mixer in a black bottle. Very expensive. It was terrible. Actually intended to be an alcohol replacement and not a mixer. Confusing labeling. Would have appreciated a warning we were about to buy a small bottle of apple cider vinegar

I wasnt impressed! Travelled out of my way to try their ribeye. Felt it was small and overpriced!! Lots of grissel, when cooked medium it was very tough!! Bought some kube too, definitely way better options in the city. I was willing to give the shop another try but at a later date on social media I saw guys building shelves. We're in a pandemic, they had no masks or covid sanitizing protection. This turned me off! If they're so careless infront of the counters, I cannot imagine what goes on behind the counters.

A great meat market, close to the middle of nowhere.
Location: as a non Winnipeg resident, the location is excellent. It's on my way out of the city, I can grab what I need on my way home so my goods aren't sitting in a hot car all day. The parking lot, while somewhat busy, is never really packed to capacity, easy to get to, and easy to get back onto a main route. I could however understand that a Winnipeg resident may find the location a bit out of the way.
Facility: clean, organized, and operates quick & efficiently. Products are well marked, prices are always visible.
Staff: friendly, eager

Always a pleasant business to visit. The staff are friendly helpful and accomadating. Their in store made meat products are exceptional and tasty. We have bought many different products here and have never been disappointed with their products. We will continue to frequent this business for the foreseeable future.

It’s always busy, make sure you grab a number. We get beef jerky here regularly however today the jerky we got tasted overcooked/burnt, the flavour and texture were both off. Really disappointed as we got quite a lot. Got a couple rings of garlic sausage which is delicious. I wouldn’t get deli meat here though, had a bad case of food poisoning a few months ago from some.

I was just in there with a friend, normally I'm at superstore or Safeway, however the prices were great and the quality of their deli products were phenomenal. I had a quick taste of their deli and ended up leaving with $20 of deli meat. A superior deli experience. I didn't get any of their other products but their deli counter is worth coming in for.
