Today the Sokil Group is comprised of five specialized transportation and distribution companies. Storage and distribution facilities (Edmonton, Calgary) for dry and refrigerated products (125,000 sq. Complete import and export services for container load and less-than- container load shipments. Container drayage (dry, high cube, flat rack, tank, reefer) for local, and long distance movements.
Sokil Group of Companies requires Class 1 Tractor Trailer drivers to be based out of our Edmonton, Calgary, or New Westminster locations. Greg Sokil and Sokil Transport has been a long supporter of our run that is held in my daughter Jessie McQuitty's memory. Rob Sokil was instrumental in ensuring Run for the Lung was a success each year. We really appreciate how Greg has stepped in to not only keep Rob's memory alive at our run but the continued financial support as we raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis research. Sokil provides outstanding service to their clients. They never hesitate to help when in need. Sokil has done a great job in supporting London Drugs in making community deliveries. They were quick to help and offer support to London Drugs when making a supply delivery to the Citadel Mews seniors complex in St. Albert after their devastating fire. Sokil was an instrumental partner in the Stocking Stuffer's for Seniors campaign this year. Their willingness to deliver the 6300+ gifts to seniors in Edmonton and surrounding areas FREE of charge was AMAZING!!! And on top of this gesture, I was so impressed with their quick responsiveness and willingness to work with our centre on a delivery date that worked for us and our residents. As a recipient of this campaign, I can attest to the joy and happiness these gifts bring at Christmas time for the residents at Sherwood Care. I have had the pleasure of working and dealing with Greg Sokil and his team for many years. I am proud to say that we at London Drugs have been part of the Stocking Stuffers for Seniors program for 6 years. Greg Sokil and his team have been such an unbelievable support to us in helping us manage this program and allows us the ability to make this program work.
