Bermis Inc is a privately owned business founded in 1989 by Manfred Stohmann, and was originally located in Mississauga. Manfred emigrated from Berlin, Germany in 1958 and started his career as an electrician eventually working his way up to General Manager of one of the largest Electrical Contractors in Canada.
Tanya graduated in 1994 from Queen's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. She started her career working on the oil rigs of Alberta for Schlumberger. When she moved back to Ontario, she worked as a Program Manager in the automotive sector for such companies as Lear Corporation The ABC Group and Progressive Moulded.
