Since our inception in 1985, our family run business has gained the respect of our many clients for our customer service, after sales service and expert installation. Nearly 35 years ago - in 1985 - Glen started Blind Advantage as a young man working out of his van. Not long after, with the help of his wife Cindy - Blind Advantage turned into an established showroom in Burlington, Ontario.
At Blind Advantage we specialize in providing solutions for commercial applications. With an array of products for commercial settings, our trained and certified staff will help guide you in choosing the right covering for your space. We work directly with commercial owners but also partner with architects, designers and contractors.
So what's the difference is between a Shade and a Blind? Blinds are usually made of hard surface materials and have slats or louvers which allow you to diffuse light in different ways. Shades on the other hand are usually made of soft material and come with varying opacities from light filtering to room darkening.

We are totally pleased with our experience with Blind Advantage. From the initial consultation to the installation, everything was done in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. After discussing what our thoughts were to different products, a follow up appointment was made to show different options. This included samples and measuring of the windows. The experience was topped by an excellent installation and explanation of the blinds.

Cindy and Glen were very easy to work with, their explanations of the process, measuring, and next steps were accurate and easy to understand. Follow-up on all questions was prompt. There was a small problem with the quote given, but Glen did his best to offset the issue and I was happy with the end result. The removal of old blinds and installation of new shutters was very smooth and I would recommend their services.

Cindy and Glen provided us with great suggestions for our window treatments after we completed a renovation. We had a difficult sliding glass door to cover and Cindy had several ideas for the treatment. It was excellent and the covering we went with was exactly what we needed. Blind Advantage has a large selection of window coverings and Cindy and Glen helped us narrow down the options that would work for us and our budget. I would highly recommended Blind Advantage.

Cindy and her husband were so professional and made the process less stressful for us as we were getting blinds for a whole house.
