Canco Investments Properties

I would highly recommend you stay away from these apartments and this landlord as we have had serious issues over a number of years that have fallen on deaf ears. Bugs coming from the laundry room and entrances where garbage has piled up. Landlord does not return calls on serious maintenance issues like mold and leaks. Main entrance and hallways stink of smoke and are filthy with litter. Landlord does not clean main entrances or common areas regularly where garbage collects. Potholes and overflowing dumpsters in the parking lot. The list goes on.

Owner is rude he, discriminates against anyone on assistance and seems to think his properties are The Hilton. They all run down and not maintained what so ever. Stay away

From beginning to end, every aspect of dealing with Canco Investment Properties has been absolutely dreadful. The owners are unprofessional, disorganized, and are content with being slum lords.
- They sign multiple contracts for the same apartment with several different people. I had signed for an apartment at Nelson Street only to be told a week later that it had already been offered to someone else.
- They are incapable of scheduling and committing to meeting times. Of the 4 or 5 meetings I had with Canco, only 1 was scheduled correctly and had someone arrive on time. This included returning

Absolutely horrid!!! DO NOT even consider these people unless you have absolutely ZERO options. They had me send in last months rent with an application an APPLICATION people not an actual lease, they didn’t even take down the listing after accepting my money 🤦‍♀️ They DO NOT return phone calls and super slackin in the email department as well!

I currently live in one of there buildings on Craig st and i must say, this is one of the worst places to rent that i have ever seen, i am just waiting and hoping something else comes up so i can get out of here.
We have homeless people sleeping in our garage, there's strangers all over the building at all times of the night due to the drug dealer that lives in my building,
Our cars get struck in the parking lot and broke into,.
Our maintenance request go un noticed for some time, and when are met we are dealt with in a rude and un professional manor,
We have no after hours contact number,

No building maintenance, no on call service, laundry room is hardly working, dont waste money and time.

Have seen the places before recently and tried to get an application but they will not give one until they have seen me.

Have someone I know living at the apartments at 69 cartwright street and has cockroaches. Apparently to other tenants they have been there before my friend even moved in. The fact she wasn’t notified about the problem before she moved in discusts me. This is not a place to call home.
