All of our columns in stock are made from Finger Joint Pine and are available in a variety of sizes. Our porch posts are square Veranda posts that finish off the front of your home beautifully. Any custom post can be made at our shop or on site to fit the look and style you are trying to achieve. At Barrie Trim we have access to an extensive inventory of decorative plywoods in particle core and veneer core, flat or rotary cut.

Would not recommend my friends or anyone else to deal with this company. To many excuses from them for mistakes made. Doors not measured right, Trim measurements weren’t long enough, with all that they made due with what was given to me and tried to correct mistakes. They promise everything however once you sign the agreement everything and everything goes wrong they really don’t care.

We had an issue with a closet installation and Scott and Jay came back to correct the situation. They were courteous, professional and entertaining (Jay, in particular). The situation has been corrected and we are very happy with the results. Thanks again and would, most definitely, recommend BTM for further renos!!

I went to Barrie Trim and Mouldings to pick up some shiplap. When we entered, it was quite busy but we didn’t end up waiting long at all. As soon as we were at the front service desk, Josh was focused with us and gave us all the details we needed to know for our order. We also had a few questions about some doors and he was very knowledgeable, and efficient with giving us prices and details. Our Shiplap order was ready within minutes of speaking with Josh, and the warehouse guys helped load our trailer with our large order. Barrie Trim and their installers did an amazing job. We had large custom windows and doors with curved casings, pocket doors, lots of shiplap and tongue and groove ceiling. Lee and Sean made sure we had our materials on time and the install crew was very quick to get it all done. We will be using them again in the future for sure.

Went to BTM to get some information on shiplap, baseboards/casings and doors. I met with Josh and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He got me set up with everything I was looking for. They quickly got my order together and even helped me load it. Extremely professional staff from the front desk to the back warehouse. I will definitely be using BTM with my other projects and would highly recommend them.

We had Ryan & Brandon come do our crown moulding and trim on our main floor and upstairs hallway. Looks great!!!
Today they worked on the crown moulding on a section of ceiling above the stairs. What a crazy hard job THAT was!! Trying to install crown moulding on a curved ceiling above a set of stairs!!!!
They pulled it off effortlessly. Job well done guys!!

Built a new home had you guys do the stairs and rails. when getting my final inspection the inspector notified me that I need an engineers report.i called you guys and was told this is something that should have been done at the start not after.called your engineer and was told the same thing and that all stairs built like that need a report for… an inspection as they are open with cantalivre,so my problem is im stuck paying for an engineer to give me a report proving the stairs and rails you built and installed are to code, this should have been taken care of by you guys as I would not

We have used BTM while slowly renovating our farmhouse over the last 3 years with all new doors, trim etc We have been very pleased with their product knowledge, selection and service, our most recent project was converting an old closed stair case to a 1 sided open stair case, BTM measured for what we required for a 1 piece railing, tread caps and risers as well as spindles and a Post.

The staff at BT&M was not only helpful, they were very friendly when I purchased window trim and ship lap for what I thought would be a minor living room wall construction project. They custom cut my trim on site and were encouraging and supportive when I returned to the store a second time for additional material after I botched the job the first time. :) So grateful for the help!!

We decided to completely change the look of our dark, wooden handrail and spindles to a more modern, contemporary look. We first consulted with a local Barrie railing company that was getting a lot of press and "looked" reputable. However after wasting much time with poor customer service, but still thinking we had a quote completed - our emails… and calls were simply ignored!
So then we visited the BTM showroom and were we ever happy we did. Within days of our visit, Rob came out to Port Severn and worked with us to create the look we were striving for, and got everything measured and ordered

We decided to replace our hand railing and received quotes from 3 companies. Barrie Trim had given us the best quote so we went with them. We are so pleased with the finished product and the experience. The… staff in the showroom took time to help with decisions and explain the product and options. The project coordinator clearly explained the process and answered my emails in a timely fashion. The installer is skilled and professional. Went there on Saturday to look at doors and trim for our new house. Was very disappointed in the sales assistant. He was rude and his attitude was like we were bothering him? After not getting much help we picked a door style we liked, we gave him the measurements that our contractor gave us and he looked at them and said "what is that"? We said… our measurements? Again, he was just rude and it was an inconvenience to deal with us! I had about enough at this point and said let's go. We went to another place and the guy was very helpful.
