The Algonquin East Gate Motel is now part of the Algonquin Accommodations Inc. family of business that include the Algonquin Dream Catcher Motel, Bellwood Inn Bed and Breakfast, and the Algonquin Rolling Rapids Motel! We have been hard at work renovating rooms 3, 8, 9, 10 and 11. These rooms have been completely rebuilt from the ground up and feauture accessible friendly washrooms with luxury finishes such as shower spas!

The bedding has been upgraded in all units with new high-quality quilts as well as new light fixtures out side the doors. We will continue our efforts with a new paint job to each room, new bathroom mirrors, curtains, shower curtains. The garden out front is going to get a renovation this year as well which we hope will include a new sign, pond with fountain and new garden lighting.

Our Rooms Report

All of our rooms include a Bar Fridge, Air Conditioner, Electric Heat, TV with satellite service, Free WI-Fi, Free Parking and free use of our picnic area with a fire pit. Room One features 2 double beds with a private 3 piece bathroom that is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower. This room Also has heat, air Conditioning and a flat Screen TV.

Lovely woman at check in, offered a coffee maker or kettle, clearly wanted happy customers. Less than a minute book in time after reserving online. Nice, cozy and clean room.

The motels close location to the park was so nice however this room was not clean as advertised. We found wrappers left in the shower and under the bed from previous guests. The walls were also very thin we heard every car door closing and even footsteps. We will not be back.

Stayed a night in room 10. It was a very nice clean and polished room with an awesome shower. Room comes with a mini fridge, microwave, TV, and is air conditioned.

I was looking for somewhere to stay, close enough to Algonquin but not quite camp. This cozy spot is perfect. Great price, clean, looks newly renovated and made accessible. Cute country like decor. We will definitely return.

What a great way to begin our stay friendly staff and a great feeling from the start. I had a problem with my tv and before i finished speaking to the front desk, They had someone on the way to show us what went wrong. Our room was clean quiet and modern. I hope i am back here soon.

I am giving the Algonquin East Gate Motel 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star hotel/motel but because it's exactly as advertised and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I see some reviews saying the rooms are dated etc. Our room was very clean, albeit a bit old, but their website clearly and accurately shows photos of each and every room - so you know before you book what you are getting into! I gave 5 stars because I wasn't expecting much from the photos, but as I said it was very clean, cleaner than I expected! Definitely worth the price (especially being so close to the East Gate of
