Services
Raised in the Owen Sound area near Big Bay, Paul attended school at Hillcrest and West Hill. Then, he left Owen Sound to attend the University of Guelph for Human Kinetics, and later the University of Toronto to become a physical therapist. Throughout his professional career, Paul has practiced in orthopaedics physical therapy with a keen interest in sports injury rehabilitation.
From repeat athletes to new patients, Bayshore Physical Therapy offers physiotherapy to the Owen Sound community. If you're a new patient, it is our clinic's priority to ensure that you're seen within a week of contact. However, this may be affected by periods of high seasonal demand and/or priority and emergency cases.
Pelvic floor therapy is more common than you think, as it is also something that most people don't tend to talk about much. Urinary frequency, urgency, hesitancy, stopping and starting of the urine stream, painful urination, or incomplete emptying. Our pelvic floor muscles do their job silently, allowing us to function without interruption to assist with bowel function, bladder function, and sexual function.
Bayshore Physical Therapy is pleased to be the exclusive Complete Concussion Management clinic in Owen Sound, certified by CCMI. Around the world, concussions have become the focus for both professional and amateur athletes, and Bayshore Physical Therapy will continue to be at the forefront of concussion diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation with this collaboration.
Bayshore Physical Therapy offers breast cancer rehabilitation with a goal to restore and maximize function. This establishes baseline measures including range of motion, strength, limb volume, pain, and functional activities. The goal is to return to basic functional activities and begin to re-establish fluid dynamics.

SO MANY LOVELY REPORTS HOWEVER;-Mine is a little different- Be very careful who works on your post knee replacement surgery. You should absolutely be sure your surgeon approves of the treatment you get. Do not presume all Pysio Therapist know what is best for your particular case. Knee replacement surgery therapy requires an expert who actually knows when, what and how much therapy is wise.

The physiotherapist are excellent here. They're attentive to your needs and will recommend stretches and excercise to get your muscles repaired. The place is clean and well cared for. Receptionist is great. Be really helpful if they had online booking options. They bill third party insurance direct.

Don't know what that Justin guy is talking about, but I wouldn't believe a word he says. His reviews are all or nothing. I was in a bad car accident, and at any time I was only booked in with another person or so. If it wasn't for bayshore, I would not be better today. They exercise you hard and don't babysit you and look over your shoulder when you have your routine down. But the whole time they were there for me to help me. They check in on you constantly, make sure you are ok, you know at any time you can ask them any question and they answer it fully. If I was sore and stiff I got stretched

This place is located on the third floor of the same building that the Family Health Team is in. Some times parking is an issue. The qualified staff are friendly. They take the time to consult with you about your injury and what therapy they suggest. They are very hands on and offer practical advice for exercises and other things you can do at home between visits, to help your recovery. Lots of different therapies are used including heat, acupuncture, ultrasound and different exercises

After a good year and a half of suffering with injury-related symptoms that kept him from school, sports and work, my son switched to this physiotherapy clinic. Within 3 months he was back at it all!! SO impressed at the knowledge, skill, and ability to listen the patient here. When my daughter needed physio this year, I knew just where to go...and she, too, is back at it pain-free! These guys are great at listening to and observing patient changes, giving exercises, and knowledgeable.
