Being a veterinarian has been a lifelong calling for Dr. Jack. He has wanted to be a veterinarian since the age of three. Dr. Jack has worked at a fast-paced 24/7 facility in Brantford, as well as at a regular general practice in the Kitchener area where he spent the majority of his time caring for rescue and humane society patients.
Vaccinations are critical to the well being of your pet, protecting them from potentially deadly viral and bacterial diseases like Distemper, Parvo Virus, Leptospirosis and Rabies in dogs; Panleukopenia, Feline Leukemia Virus and Rabies in cats. Our veterinarians will help you decide which vaccines are appropriate for your pet's risk factors.
We are a full service veterinary medical and surgical hospital located in London, ON. Our goal is to provide the most rewarding experience for pets and clients by satisfying the needs of each beyond their expectations. We believe strongly in the value of preventive care and know it can help your pet live a longer and happier life.
In an effort to serve our clients and patients better and be able to get patients in on a timely basis we have set out several new policies. This is not to punish clients. Recently, we have had many people completely miss appointments with no advance warning. We have many patients on our cancellation list that need to be seen and could have been, if not for a few bad actors.
Petly is a secure personal health page for your pet that gives you direct access to your pet's health records 24/7. We're happy to provide Petly to all our current clients who have an active email address at the practice. Honestly, Dr. Jack and every single person he has on as staff are wonderful. They truly do go above and beyond for their patients. We've had nothing but pleasant experiences there, even during the tough times of covid-19. Their prices are nothing but fair, their service is top notch, their hours of operation are more than acceptable,etc. I don't have anything negative to say! Sometimes they are booked for weeks, (but what can you expect with a vet that's so great)....they do offer emergency spots daily (?) which helps! Dr. Jack is the best vet we have ever visited. He takes so much time to answer questions, and he is so caring and the staff there are also so warm and compassionate. Our dog has had issues with allergies and ear infections and Dr. Jack is doing everything he can to get to the root cause. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Jack and the staff.

Absolutely love the staff at this clinic! When it comes to our cats we wont take them anywhere else. The staff genuinely care and go the extra mile. I was so worried about my one cat yesterday when we took her in for an emergency appointment. They took such time and care into making sure my girl was not in pain and that we were doing the right steps to make her feel better. Im glad to say shes feeling much better!!
The clinic itself is spotless. Always clean and bright! No clutter. I love seeing this.

Our visit to Hyde Park Veterinary was amazing. All of the staff were engaging and kind, so much so that our cat didn't even mind being there at all! We received incredible service with honest advice for a very fair price. Definitely the best vet we've been to in London. Thanks for the amazing service!
