Took my dog there just now because I thought there might be a stick stuck in his teeth, called prior to see what they can do and they gave no advice, told me to bring him in so he can have a look. Once arrived I was asked to weigh my own dog and wait in the waiting room. The vet then said they have to sedate him by injection to even look at him. There was no questions asked about his behaviour or symptoms. I didn’t want to sedate him as i had the same thing happen with my other dog and there was no sedation required by the other vet. If they told me they required to sedate him at this clinic

Brought my dog to this vet about concerns of a bump near his eye lid area, as this clinic was located close to my workplace. As soon as I walked in, I should have trusted my gut reaction and left. Huge waste of time and money.
The clinic has 2 cats, which were the most overweight cats I have ever seen. I felt horrid for them, as their weights were visibly soo unhealthy. Still, I regrettably stayed for my appointment.
When the vet came to our room, I showed him the small bump on my dog. Right away, he told me my options for paying for surgery. Surgery? I was shocked. He hadn't told me anything

We had a life threatening emergency with our cat Oscar. After trying another vet we came to Dr. Bill to see if he could help us. He fit us into their busy day and took him in. We would not have him with us today if it were not for his care.
He was kind and compassionate, he knew how upset we were and he made sure to take time from his busy day to call us and update us on how Oscar was doing. The staff was also so kind and helpful.
He is not one to sit and hold your hand all day. He is very busy helping many families, I think some people who posted a few of the other reviews forget that. His job

I can't thank Avon Animal Hospital enough for the care they provided my cat, my dog and the kindness they showed me as a pet owner. Recently my cat was very sick and we didn't know if he would make it. Avon saved his life, we are so grateful and so happy with the top notch care he received. The team is thorough, responsive, compassionate and go above and beyond for the pets and their owners. Highly recommend.

I took Kenji our youngest member of the family for his first shots. Saurabh was very thorough with his initial check up, explained to me what shots are given and what it is for. Answered my questions about side effects. The office was very nice, open and they did not just had me give Kenji and wait outside. They had me come in to comfort and be with my little guy. I brought my dog here after… going to three different vets during an emergency infection. None of those vets could provide me an awnser or proper treatment.
Dr.Mrar saved my dog's life and my wellbeing during this stressful time.

I have been a monthly visitor due to my dog, Conway’s, allergy therapy. We’re always treated like VIP’s and the vet makes a point to say hi anytime I stop by. Their pricing on dental cleaning is surprisingly affordable. I love that they have text reminders for appointment and when his vaccinations are due. Basically they make it much less stressful for both Conway and I. Thank you to all the staff at Avon Animal Hospital!

My is Catalina Luzuka and my Pet’s name is Coco On Sunday we noticed the swelling on the left hand side of Coco’s head, We phoned Avon Animal Hospital on Monday and expressed the urgency of the situation. They were able to accommodate us right away despite of not having an appointment. Also they had to adjust their booking in order to accommodate… us. When we reached the clinic the were able to take us right away. Dr. Bal told us they needed to conduct a laboratory test. So we needed to leave Coco with them and let us know when everything is done. I found Dr Bal as very caring

We have used this clinic for years with multiple pets. Last Friday my cat was in obvious distress , with blood in urine. We were able to get into see the Vet right away (which is amazing service in it's own right!). He showed the compassion & care we needed during a stressful time. After a (next day) surgery on her bladder to remove multiple crystals, our fur-baby is home again and is on the mend. Today we even received a follow up phone call to check in on her condition. So kind. We cannot say enough positive things about the staff and services provided at this clinic. Thank you for everything

Where do I even start with Dr. Mrar? Simply put, he is the best. My little pup swallowed a foreign object over the weekend and required emergency surgery to remove it. Like any other fur parent, I was a complete wreck - worried what was going to happen to my little baby.
Dr. Mrar’s professionalism, calm yet funny demeanour, and his… knowledge/passion towards animals left my family and I at ease. It is to note that he was the second vet I consulted and upon meeting him I knew right away that my little guy was in the best of hand - I actually left Avon with a smile on my face.

I brought our dog in with a terrible rash under his legs and starting on his face - he also didn't want to eat this day. I was told by a previous vet that it was most likely a food allergy but after cutting a lot of foods out and the rash only worsening I suspected possibly a grass allergy. The vet didn't tend to the issue at hand instead he was focused on him not eating even though it was only one day and I felt he was probably just uncomfortable from all the rashes. They couldn't just simply tell me how much shots were, and what kind of shots my puppy needed. As another vet just simply gave me the numbers.
The shots here are charged way more then others good vets that I've been to.

I absolutely love Avon animal hospital and trust Dr Bill 100% with my dog Archie. They are always upfront and competitive with pricing and very punctual and organized. Dr Bill has also helped with a very sensitive situation regarding our family dog who was 16 years old and needed putting down. I would never take my dog anywhere else.

Avon Animal Hospital was first recommended to us by a friend 8 years ago when we got a new dog. We had been going to a vet much closer to our house but also MUCH more expensive. We made an appointment with Avon for the first appointment and were immediately impressed with the questions we received as to why we were asking for certain tests to be done. Our previous vet had always performed them as routine before giving certain vaccines so we assumed they were needed. We were told the tests were not needed before vaccines unless we suspected problems. That saved us over $200! Then came the

I brought my dog in for his vaccines for the 1st time at the recommendation of the breeder. The vet had a few emergencies, gave me a paper document to read and to choose from the list and small paragraph explanations which shots to give my dog... then the assistant came to ask which shots we would like. Since i'm not a vet I wasn't too sure and suggested 1 or 2 then got a whole lot of attitude like I wasn't a good owner cos I'm not giving my dog this shot or that shot. I got annoyed because shouldn't the vet be giving me advice on this in the first place not leaving us

My neighboor just recently brought their dog in to this vet, with a bleeding issue. They put a $300 deposit down and gave the Vet an OK to do IV fluid, antibiotics, and a few other things. The dog had to stay overnight, and they received the call to pick him up. The vet had no explanation on what caused the problems for the dog, and the Bill came to $1057!!!!!! The family had no way of paying that bill. They were very upset as the dog was held hostage until the bill was paid. They were shocked at such a high vet bill, and questioned it.
