The Oaks opened in 1993 as a par 72 championship course built on the sandy banks and bluffs above the Thames river valley near Delaware, Ontario. Its 150 acres occupy an ideal site for golf, offering unusually mixed topography with excellent grass-growing conditions. The facilities are designed with today's golfing family in mind.
Men, Women, Couples and Juniors will all find they can share in the sense of membership here. We are proud to have been selected to host the 2007 RCGA Canadian Men's Mid-Amateur Championship. In addition, legendary golfers Moe Norman, Ed Ervasti, Mike Weir, Bruce Fleisher, John Daly and Fred Couples have all put their games to the test at the Oaks as well.

Services
The Oaks is a par-72 championship golf course. Designed by Rene Muylaert, it was built on the sandy banks and bluffs above the Thames River near Delaware, Ontario. Its 150 acres occupy an ideal setting for golf, offering unusually mixed topography with excellent grass-growing conditions. As you enter the lower valley coming home, the look changes dramatically.
Your event will truly be a special occasion when you choose The Oaks. For weddings, meetings and special events, you can expect a magnificent setting, exceptional cuisine and a dedicated staff of professionals. The Oaks provides all the services you would expect from a private country club. Our in-house Food & Beverage Manager will advise and create your special meal and our oriented staff will provide friendly, first-class service.
It began with a site shaped by the ages into a rare blend of open rolling uplands and treed valleys. We added a vision of a club built purely for its members and their love of golf. Then we enlisted architect Rene Muylaert to mold the land into a course that would challenge and excite golfers at every level of play.
The Oaks objective is to find enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals committed to excellence. Our management and staff believe in a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) atmosphere. If you are or know someone interested in joining the team, employment opportunities may be available at The Oaks during the season.

Well laid out course with a variety of holes. Nice greens, excellent driving range and facilities. Highlight will be the island green but if you have a good round going, watch out for the next 3 finishing holes! They are tough. Shame the initiation fee is jacked up, I would have joined had it been reasonable.

The Oaks golf course is a top notch club for both the golfer and for those that want to feel a family atmosphere with the members. The staff are so kind and so professional. They make your time here, the very best that it can be. If you are a true golfer and you want to challenge yourself in the professional golfer laid out course, donβt hesitate to call for an opportunity to see this course.

Played a few times as a guest. Beautiful private course with lots of great holes. The #15 island green is a true highlight hole of the region. I really like the unique #2 with the large waste bunker that runs the right and splits the fairway. Pro shop has been upgraded for the 2021 season.
One con is that there seems to be a lot of range balls scattered around #4.
If you are lucky enough to get invited, definitely jump at the chance at least once!

I walked into the clubhouse looking to join as a member and was told the general manager was away. When I returned the next day i was told by an employee to call the general manger who didn't respond or get back to me. Very disappointing as this looked like a nice course. Since have joined sunningdale who told me its normal for the staff of the oaks to act so ignorant. Would highly recommend not wasting your money at this course
