New Journeys Hypnotherapy
New Journeys Hypnotherapy provides hypnosis and life coaching services to clients in Edmonton, Alberta through one-on-one or group sessions, and to clients around the world through on-line videoconferencing services. It is important to realize, however, that developing a healthy mind - how you choose to perceive, think, and act - is an important first step towards physical health, since an unhealthy mind often creates an unhealthy body.

Stress, pain, depression, and overeating are often deeply intertwined - but can be untangled through hypnotherapy and hypnosis. Why is it that some people seem to consistently have great relationships? Perhaps their parents were great role models for them when they were children, or they learned how to set effective boundaries, or they learned to be excellent communicators - or more likely, all of the above.

Chris Vilcsak is the primary practitioner at New Journeys. His first training and employment was as a mechanical engineer. After a few years, he went back to school (part-time) to finish an MBA, which sparked his entrepreneurial fire and led to the creation of Solution 105, a company which continues to help other firms manage their utilities.
Chris and I had known each other for a few years before he went to Peru in 2007 - but it was really after he came back that he went through big changes, and I have graciously accepted his thanks for my part in those shifts and changes.

I have to also say, Chris has had a major part in shifts that have happened in MY life, too - my understanding of my place in this world (and in relationships - he's really good at understanding those!), yes, but it was the change in my employment situation a few years ago where Chris really helped me.
Sedona has been voted one of "America's 10 Most Beautiful Places" - and with good reason! Although Sedona has only 11,000 full-time residents, the town receives over 4.5 million visitors a year - for hiking, for spiritual journeys, for experiencing the energy vortexes in the area - and it's the perfect place to re-discover yourself.
Many things can cause a loss in confidence, but the most important thing is to focus on the positive result you want. Worrying about things is one of the most unhealthy things we can do to ourselves - so reducing your anxiety levels has many health benefits. Hand-in-hand with reducing anxieties is calming your mind; a bit of a 'chicken and egg' situation, but they are definitely linked!
Smoking can be one of the hardest habits to break - but if you're truly ready to quit, it can also be one of the easiest! Those that have had trouble losing weight and/or keeping it off may have underlying and unrelated issues which are standing in their way - deal with those issues, and get (and KEEP!) fit!
