Whether you are 'coming home' or coming for the first time you will find a welcome here at the Bayview and in the Village of Alma. Village life revolves around lobster fishing and nearby Fundy National Park so be prepared to listen to the rhythm of the tides and enjoy an authentic down east fishing village.
Take advantage of the great nature trails in Fundy National Park, swim in the salt water pool or participate in one of the interpretive activities. Take in a kitchen party at the Molly Kool Centre and learn about our colorful history or walk out on the dock to watch the lobster boats returning with their catch.

Services
As a gardener who has spent most of my life gardening in a city, living in Alma has changed my perspective. I liked my city lot to look neat and tidy. In the past we could not wait to get rid of those pesky dandelions. No-mow May? No way! I even had some not too. My friend Brenda from Ontario introduced me to the idea of Barn Quilts several years ago.
Open ceilings and wood trusses give this large 2-story chalet a cozy, rustic feel. Enjoy the sunrise and a quiet cup of morning coffee from the private balcony of the master bedroom. You can see the Bay from the sunny front porch or from the master bedroom balcony. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double and there is a double hide-a-bed in the living room.
The queen bed and easy chairs offer a comfortable room for a couple. The full kitchen with a 4 burner electric stove, fridge, coffee maker and microwave is generously equipped and makes this a great choice for a longer stay. Pets are not permitted in this room. The basic room is a great choice for 2 adults or a small family looking for a modest room for overnight.
Where ever you go in New Brunswick, you will find friendly people and natural scenery unlike any place else. The power of the tides is evident everywhere along the coast and provides a sharp contrast to the quiet marshes and rural villages. No matter where you go, there is a picture around every turn!
Please respect our Smoke Free policy. A significant room recovery fee will be levied for guests smoking in the chalets, motel or campers' lounge. There is a small additional charge for your pet-please refer to the rates and reservation tab where we designate which units are pet friendly. We reserve the right to levy an extra charge if additional housekeeping or maintenance tasks are incurred.

We stayed on the motel side, and were satisfied with our room. We had the place to ourselves with it being off season.
The kitchenette had the basics and we were able to fix ourselves a hearty breakfast and dinner.
Would like to say the owners went above and beyond when we discovered we had a screw in our tire and helped us inflate it as the nearest tire place was 60km away.
Would highly recommend this location.

Very friendly and accommodating owners, with a lovely mascot (Kitty) who welcomed us when we arrived.
Cleanest motel I've ever stayed in, with a common firepit (free firewood) and quiet surroundings. We booked at the last minute and were able to get two rooms in the motel, but will be booking one of the chalets when we return. Thanks for a great stay!

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a small kitchenette stocked with the necessities. Many places give lip service to environmental stewardship, but Bayview goes beyond that with rooms stocked with metal water bottles that guests can fill with good tap water, instead of plastic bottles. The owners offered extra sheets to protect beds so our dogs could sleep there without getting anything dirty. They also offered plenty of helpful information about the area.

We went this summer and it was a charm. We stayed in the newest rooms and we fell in love. Honestly this place change our whole trip. The owners were so welcoming and the service we received was perfect. We could even make a fire late at night with their permission. We definitely recommand this sweet spot.

Stayed for a restful relaxing night in the new gardenview room, awoke this morning and opened bay doors onto the garden and sound of a bubbling stream outside. The room is Beautiful and very well appointed, the owners care and are so attentive to their business. They have truely raised the bar in lavish comfortable places to stay in Alma. Trust us, we have tried all the other places. Loved the bed so much we are staying a second night.

Great little spot to stay. We stayed in the motel section. Room was clean but a little dated. Has all the amenities we needed. Motel is just outside Alma but is literally a 2 minute drive to all the shops and restaurants. Staff is super friendly. Does not have a view of the day but trust me you won't be spending a lot of time in your room anyways with so much around you.

Quiet rustic place. We stayed in one of the suites. Kitchen had all the basic required supplies. Everything was clean and tidy. Not a new place, things are aged, but it gives it it's charm. Nice and quiet. Happy we stayed there... slightly out of the main town of Alma. Would definitely recommend. Also, it being dog friendly was great for us!

We stayed in the blackberry chalet which suited the season and the owner directed us to pick as many as we pleased. Pleasant and homey accommodation which left nothing wanting though 'queen' beds were smaller than standard US sizing. Alma and environs are beautiful and the motel grounds are conveniently located on the outskirts of town by a walkable distance. Would not hesitate to return.
