Through peer support, we help people help themselves achieve fulfilling goals and make changes for the better. P.A.C.E is still here for you during this time. We want to support our members the best we can, please reach out to us through our website or by phone at 807-632-4305 and we will try to help as best we can.
We believe the community should be free of barriers so that opportunity is available to all. Our Membership Development Worker acts very closely with the members through, daily activities and peer support committees. Together, members support each other, learn additional skills and knowledge from their peers, socialize and develop acquaintances and friendships.

Services
In November of 1989, three Canadian Mental Health New Foundation's Club House members were selected to attend a national conference for users of mental health services. It was the first and only national conference of its kind. The conference was appropriately called "Our Turn". It was our turn to band together and fight for our rights as oppressed and often ostracized human beings.
This is a great way to start the morning, members are more than welcome to come in and relax while socializing with both other members and staff in a fun, no pressure atmosphere. Participants get great company, free coffee and toast and stimulating conversation. This gives the staff a chance to check in with our members and allows our members to share things about their daily lives.
All our staff have lived experience with mental illness and/or addictions which classifies all of us as peer support workers. Because our staff have lived experience, it allows us to better connect with members in a non- clinical environment and a more realistic way. Peer support is a system of giving and receiving help founded on key principals of respect, shared responsibilities and mutual agreement of what is helpful.
