Osteopathic manual practice is a holistic approach to treating one or more problems. Based on anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the human body, these treatments address the patient as a whole unit. Using specific manual therapy (hands-on) techniques, treatments may focus on different areas such as the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles and joints), the cranium (head, face and jaw) and the visceral system (internal organs).
Physiotherapy involves the treatment of individuals of all ages to remove limitations in physical function. This can include pre- and post-surgery treatment, assessment for acute and chronic injuries, as well as recovery from sport- or work-related injury and motor vehicle accidents. Physiotherapists also play a vital role in promoting health and helping people maximize their function regardless of their age or physical ability.
Educated in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries, athletic therapists are well equipped to deal with workplace injuries or other painful orthopedic conditions. Using a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and orthopedic special testing, an athletic therapist will identify areas of weakness, lack of mobility or other functional limitations.
In the province of Ontario, Massage Therapists must be members of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. As a regulated profession, massage therapists conform to a specific standard of practice, code of ethics and quality assurance program administered by the provincial college. Using soft tissue, myofascial and other release techniques massage therapists can improve muscle function, flexibility and circulation.
Personal training in the comfort of your home, at work, outdoors, or in your own backyard! Kinesiology is the study of human movement and involves an understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and psychomotor behaviour. Kinesiologists are knowledgeable in the prevention of injury and chronic disease, as well as conditioning for enhanced performance.

Best Osteopath in Ottawa! Ask for Shauna Ironside, she helped me manage my lowerback/sciatica pain and endo pain in my stomach.
She is full of amazing ideas on how to stay active while managing the pain. She recommended physical strengthening activities to help me on my recovery path! I am forever grateful.

Great Ostopaths! Appointments are always on time and they spend the time they need with you to figure out and work through your issues. The space is nice and bright and Emily is always smiling behind the counter. Richard Gregory has an amazing knack to finding the cause of your ailment and then developing the right recovery plan.

The Osteopaths are amazing here. I saw Neil, and Shauna for my back, knees, gastro and pre/post-natal issues. They were able to fix me within 1-2 appointments. I have never had such good care. The front reception staff were very helpful and I was nicely greeted at the door. I will be back again for sure.

Saw Richard Gregory for extensive shoulder sprain that had become frozen shoulder. After months of getting no where, I had a couple of sessions with Richard and I was finally able to turn a corner engage in the steady climb back to good health. He immediately referred me to Sara Roy, physio in the clinic, who worked with me to steadily get my shoulder back to healthy form, unfrozen and, even more importantly, sleeping through the night again! She was practical and positive. She took any feedback I gave to make changes in what we doing. Very pleased with my experience at the clinic and happily climbing

After over 2 years of seeking treatment (massage therapy, physio, chiro) for a neck/shoulder issue, I was recommended to Richard Gregory by my family physician. Finally, I was able to receive a concrete diagnosis and relief from the pain I had been experiencing. I appreciate the fact that there are no "machines" in this clinic and each treatment is hands-on and one on one. Richard is professional and kind and truly cares about helping his clients. By far the best clinic I have ever been to.

I don't think I have ever been happier with a service provider - consistent professional courteous service - on top of actually being able to help my body!
When Richard became too busy and it was challenging to get an appointment at my desired time with him I started to see Shauna - what a smooth transition (well it helped that I had seen Shauna at her previous place of employment) and when Shauna was not available and I need in urgently, Christian was able to pick up where she left off. The communication among team members is incredible - it is truly a client centered business.
