Some cases of acute periodontal (gum) disease that do not respond to more conventional treatment and self-care such as flossing may require a special kind of cleaning called scaling and root planing. The procedure begins with administration of a local anesthetic to reduce any discomfort. Then, a small instrument called a "scaler, " or an ultrasonic cleaner, is used to clean beneath your gum line to remove plaque and tartar.

Not a dentist that is capable of doing basic dental procedures. Basic root canal turned into 4 weeks of mass infection, terrible pain. Boyfriend was told he would have to go to a specialist to finish it cause Dr. Tang could not. ( second time he could not finish job, only been to him twice....) Specialist was shocked he was not told it was a urgent referral. NO partial root canal last 4 weeks. End result lost tooth and wasted insurance for what....? This is a dentist that unfortunately in unable to do his job. And has no bedside manner. My family will not go to his practise again.

I contacted Dr. Tangs office this morning in hopes of being able to see him today. There happened to be a cancellation, and I was very thankful to get in. Everyone in the office, Dr. Tang and his assistants were wonderful, helpful, kind, and patient. I will definitely go back, and I will also definitely recommend Eugene!!
