Dr. Corrine Searle is proud to be the new owner of Paws and Claws Animal Hospital after enjoying part-time work with our patients since 2009. She is a graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and is happy to say that she returned to her hometown and never looked back after graduation.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.
We accept all major credit cards, debit, cash and financing through Petcard or ScratchPay. We can also assist in submitting pet insurance claims. If you are struggling to access health care for your pet please phone 604-539-7297 for other local support resources including emergency foster care (Paws for Hope Foundation/No Pet Left Behind).
Our clinic offers modern technology and sterile surgical facilities in which a variety of procedures are performed. We realize that it can be stressful to have your pet undergo anesthesia and surgery. We want to assure you that your pet is in good hands and that we will do everything possible to provide the best care.
