The Welding Shop was founded in June of 1969 and one of the original founders is still active in the day-to-day operations of the company, with some of our staff being here for over 30 years. After having been in our previous location for over 35 years we have recently move to a larger and more accessible location at 5110 - 76 Ave SE Calgary Alberta T2C 2X2.
The Welding Shop offers general welding services, complete custom metal fabrication from concept, design and drafting, to fabrication and finishing. Custom Metal Fabrication from Handrails to Trailer Hitches & anything else you can imagine!. Our well-equipped shop can handle all types of repairs no matter how big or small the project is.

I called ahead to let them know I needed the aluminum poles of my backdrop stand fixed as they were bent out of shape. I was immediately greeted by a friendly voice on the phone and I was told to drop by anytime for an estimate. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile from the receptionist (Sydney), and she called out to Darcy to assist me. Darcy was also friendly, efficient and very professional! He explained what needed to be done and charged me way less than the estimated repair value. Plus the pole was repaired instantly to save me time of having to return another day, as I had to

I would highly recommend the Welding Shop. I needed a custom piece of scientific equipment made, after a phone call with Darcy and a couple emails, a few days later it was ready. I am extremely happy that they were able to exactly create the product I envisioned without any drawings. Every aspects of my experience with them (customer service, price, turn around time, and quality) exceeded my expectation! I plan on using their services again.
