Dr. Lisa was raised on a small farm west of Edmonton and knew from a young age, she would become a vet. Lisa completed her Bachelor of Science (Animal Science major) degree at the University of Alberta and then moved to Melbourne, Australia to complete her veterinary medicine degree. Lisa graduated with honors in 2008.
Our team will assist you in accommodating all your appointment requests to the best of our abilities. When your pet is booked in for their annual exam you can be sure that our veterinarians will complete a thorough physical exam from head to toe.
Checking the eyes, ears, teeth, mucous membrane color and capillary refill time, skin and hair coat, palpating the abdomen for any abnormalities, and assessing the joints for signs of discomfort or abnormalities.In addition to these parts of the exam, if there is anything in particular you have concerns about with your pet, our veterinarians are always happy to assess those concerns and discuss them with you.

Our Doctors, Technicians and support staff are working very hard to assist your pet with the treatments and care needed during your pet's visit with us. This area is the heart of our practice where most of your pet's care will be performed. Treatments range from simple nails trims to prepping your pet for dental and surgical procedures.
At Summerside Vet Hospital we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit and e transfer. If you are coming for a curbside appointment / food or medication pickup payments will be done over the phone via credit card or e transfer. Although we do not offer a billing program we do recommend using PETCARD for any finical needs.
I've been dealing with an uncommon issue with my 2 year old kitty and this clinic has been an absolute god send. The staff and vets are so caring and wonderful; they all have been so amazing and have been trying to do everything to make sure my poor baby gets the help he needs. I cannot thank them enough for everything they've done for Yuki and I Also they offer payment plans which has been a huge help to us at this time.

I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic! Each time I phone in, the receptionists and veterinarian's take the time to listen to my concerns. My dog has seen both Dr. Lisa and Dr. Pat and they have been great. She went in for a teeth cleaning and they did a great job with communicating with me on how the surgery was going! I trust that my dog gets the best care possible and the staff genuinely care for the owners and their pets! :)

I've been going to Summerside Veterinary Hospital for quite a few years now and have never had a bad experience. They're extremely helpful and are always quick to reply. I feel very comfortable bringing my pets there and know they are getting excellent care. I recently had an emergency and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday with about an hours notice. Awesome staff.

I will never trust another vet with the service of my two dogs that isn't Summerside Vet Hospital. Dr. Lisa and all the staff provide the best and most efficient care. I always get friendly and attentive service from all the staff and appreciate the genuine care they show for my pets. Although my dogs may not like going to the vet I feel confident and safe taking my pets here as I know they will get the best care. I recommend this vet clinic to any pet owners I meet. The only thing I regret is not finding them sooner! Thank you Dr.Lisa and all the staff for all your help.

I love Summerside vets and always recommend them to everyone who has pets.
Paris first got to meet Pat and Lisa when she first got pancreatitis last year and was very ill wasn't sure she would pull through.She pulled through after in there care for over a month. They went beyond expectations for her. Even during COVID got to see Paris in the back outside on the lawn and supplied us with a blanket to visit her.Amazing job they both did to help her make a full recovery.
I love all the staff as so caring towards our fur Family.
From the front staff to all the staff in the back all do amazing work

Dr. Lisa is one of the most caring and competent vets that I have ever gone to and I have owned dogs my entire life. I'm so thankful that I found this clinic and I would never go anywhere else. If you're looking for somewhere that really cares about your pet and takes the time to speak to you on the phone as well as send you email updates along with really caring about your pet .....this is definitely the place to go.

I'm very happy with my experiences with Summerside Vet Hospital. My cat, Leo had an urinary blockage and the clinic took him in right away. They were awesome with keeping me updated on how he was doing. Dr. Lisa has a very kind and calming demeanor and I'm grateful she saved Leo's life. All the staff were very supportive and kind. I will continue to bring Leo here for regular visits as well as my other 2 kitties. Thank you!

Pippin and Mika have both seen Dr. Lisa. I can't say enough about what a kind, caring, considerate and knowledgeable vet she is. She even took the time to call me personally to check on Pippin and had me bring him in just to observe when she was worried about him. I am so impressed by this clinic and the love that they have for animals. I was looking for a new vet, and I have now found one that is amazing!! Dr.Lisa and her amazing team helped our little Avocado pull through the parvovirus and now she is home and healthier than the day we first brought her home. We couldn't be any happier with the help and compassion the entire clinic showed to us. We are so thrilled to have Avocado home and being a playful puppy.
