Registered Physiotherapists (PT) are trained in assessing and providing hands-on manual therapy treatment and exercise prescription to address movement dysfunction. We personalize individual treatment programs to prevent physical impairments, disabilities and to restore overall function.

These are also registered Physiotherapists (PT), who organize and direct programs for pre-season screening, first aid, rehabilitation, education and counselling for athletes, coaches and others concerned with sports.He/she may work directly with athletes or may undertake a consulting role for sports organizations.

Your physical therapy program should focus on decreasing or eliminating your pain improving your hip range of motion and strength and restoring normal functional mobility. Numerous muscles also attach around the hip to help move the joint. Hip pain can be caused by many factors. If you have osteoarthritis of the hip pain may prevent you from exercising.

I had gone to traditional Physio for a shoulder issue with incremental improvement over a few months. Late last year began IMS / Physio at INSYNC and the improvement has been extraordinary. The frustration I was experiencing before has been replaced with hope. This will be a permanent routine in my well being going forward. I've been to InSync Physiotherapy several times over the past few years and seen 3 different therapists there. All of them have been very knowledgeable and through my visits, my various issues have been resolved. Most recently I've been seen by Adrienne for PT related to a knee injury. I am impressed by Adrienne's skill and knowledge; the exercises she has prescribed have resulted in a steady improvement to my knee, to the point where it has been started feeling completely normal at times. In my opinion, InSync is the best Physiotherapy clinic in Vancouver.

I had a 45 minute initial assessment with
Christina Wan for a problem with my lower back. She has a very professional attitude and I felt comfortable during the session. She narrowed down the potential source of my problem through questioning and feedback as well as testing range of motion. She quickly got me doing relevant exercises that I felt were helpful. She will be sending me an email with a reminder of the several exercises that she thought would be useful.

This was my follow up session from last week's initial assessment appointment and treatment. Since I didn't write about the first appointment, I'll describe sessions 1 and 2 here. I've experienced my issue before and have had treatment from other PTs at different clinics so I knew what to expect during an initial assessment as in the type of questions I would be asked as in where the pain presents, how it feels, when did it start, rating the pain on a scale of 1-10, is it a dull ache, a stabbing or burning pain and any nerve referring issues. Had a hip replacement 10 months ago. Still on the younger side and remain active, so I was motivated with this rehab.

Have been to a few physio offices in this area over the past decades for a few rehab episodes. I've had about 200+ visits at 3 different offices.

Checked out Insync before my surgery as I knew this would be at least 6 months or more. It was new and only 3 blocks from my place. So glad I did.

Working with Natalie these past months has kept me on track. About 40 visits here and every time I walk out of there on a positive note. I like the one-to-one attention you get

Great physio room. They have a small exercise room and several private areas. They have modern equipment and well educated staff. Everything is clean and welcoming from the entry area to the patient rooms. They can do IMS, FM and more. Online booking is easy through the Jane system. Pricing is reasonable. They are right outside a Canada line (King Edward) are on several bus routes both East to West and North to South. Parking is available down the street (limited free). There is a bike rack relatively close.

I would refer In Sync Physio to all my family and friends. Will Seto and Natalie H helped me with my herniated disc Will did IMS and it did wonders in my ability to walk and with exercises from Natalie my mobility was better in weeks

I've seen both Michael and Heather at Insync for tight muscles through my back. Their treatments were super thorough from intake, assessment, treatments and teaching me exercises and stretches. Caitlyn fixed me up big time this week. I am a kinesiologist and I have pretty good body awareness. That being said, I really didn't know what I had done to my back. Her assessment was bang on and I got significantly better after the first IMS treatment. It was a hip issue that didn't turn out to be a big deal. I recommend Insync often to my clients and friends. They spend time with you and are great practitioners.

I went to the Cambie & King Edward location to get physio done for my knee and followed it up by getting massage treatment from Margot, the resident RMT at this location. In 3 sessions my knee was back to normal and I could start lifting weights again.
Online booking was easy, there's ample free parking, the receptionist is pleasant, you can tell the whole team cares about getting you back to your top physical potential.
