Ascent has an extensive fleet of boom trucks / picker trucks. These trucks are ideal for many situations which require flexibility for hoisting and mobilization. Our hoisting trucks range up to and including 55-Ton capacity with boom tip reach up to 170'. Various trailers as well as certified spreader bars and man baskets are available with these trucks.
Ascent has a versatile and specialized fleet of equipment which is customizable to meet each load's specifications including over dimensional and over weight. Ascent has the experience and expertise to move what you need where you need it to go. Our drivers are experts at properly distributing heavy loads on trailers to ensure they are secured properly for travel.
Ascent can handle any job - whether it is transporting equipment and material or hoisting and positioning on a job site. Ascent is capable of transporting, positioning and supporting all construction and infrastructure projects including the mobilization of large scale equipment including modules and buildings.
Ascent has the equipment and expertise to transport large scale equipment and structures including work camps to wherever they need to go including off road. Ascent has provided the transportation of buildings and camps for green field sites as well as established sites. Ascent's fleet not only can transport the equipment to or from the location but also can position the structures where they need to go.
Ascent Mechanical has one of the best mechanical teams in the industry lead by industry and factory trained mechanics with combined experience of over 70 years. Ascent is equipped to perform all repairs in shop as well as on the road with its fully equipped mobile mechanical service truck. Diesel engine overhauls, offering OEM or aftermarket part options to best suit customer needs and budget.

Just wanted to leave a big THANK YOU to both Ryan and Bob for their work yesterday. On only 24 hours notice, they were able to transport a very special piece of cargo from its previous home in Edmonton to a brand new home in Gibbons. The whole process from the initial contact on Highway 28A to the final drop-off was incredibly professional, and exceeded our expectations.
