Services
We are a group of two Companion Animal Hospitals accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the licensing body for Veterinarians and veterinary hospitals in the province. In 2007, Hollybank Animal Hospital opened to service the growing neighbourhoods in south Milton. Choosing your pet's doctor and health care team can be a very difficult process.
Behaviour problems are very common amongst pets. Some common conditions include separation anxiety, destruction of the home, fear and territorial aggression and house soiling. Many of the problems have a congenital and an environmental component. Our doctors are trained to help you determine the cause of the behavior problem and then advise you about how to.
Allergies are one of the most common ailments seen by veterinarians in our patients. Pets often present itchy and uncomfortable with inflamed and irritated skin. Diagnosis and determination of the cause of the allergy can be very complicated, time consuming and frustrating. Allergies in our pets are generally due to food or environmental causes.

Very helpful and informative staff. The doctors really know what they're doing and talk with you each step of the way making sure you know what's going on with your pet before doing anything. I highly recommend bringing your pets here and I will definitely keep coming here with my dog. Thanks everyone for seeing us on such short notice.

I've been coming to Avonlea since I got my kitten.
It had great reviews on Google and is located a 5 minute drive away. Which is perfect since my cat absolutely hates car rides and isn't shy about letting me know. To avoid listening to his opera renditions for more than 5 minutes, I was looking for a super close by veterinarian hospital and was not disappointed!
Great service and absolutely lovely staff! Quick in and out for routine checks. Xerxes protests minimally after his visits.

Avonlea is a wonderful Animal Hospital. My mini dachshund had back surgery, and even though the procedure was not done at their practice, they called a few times to check up on her and see how she was healing. The checkups made me feel that my pet was important to them and that they genuinely cared for animals. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Thank Avonlea, for being so kind.

My journey with Dr. Rosely and the Avonlea Animal Hospital started over 17 years ago when a tiny dog with a huge personality decided to adopt us as her family, and I was looking for a vet. Four years later, I wanted to get a miniature schnauzer for my son. It was Dr. Rosely that told me about a breeder. The task to choose a puppy from a group fell on my daughter. The service I received at Avonlea was exceptional! Dr. Rosely and her staff are very patient, honest and proactive. I brought my senior dog in for a second opinion after receiving worrying news in a very unprofessional manner from another vet. The vet Sandi will take the time to listen to all of your concerns and make an active effort to come up with a great solution for both the owner and the pet. Avonlea Animal Hospital was recommended by one of our neighbours. We took our cat Jenny in and their team was very caring and helpful. Although Jenny was not the most co-operative, they handled her very well and got her taken care of. Their pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend that you take your pet here.

Took my dog here during the COVID-19 outbreak after she was injured in a dog attack while out on a walk. They took appropriate measures to avoid close contact and diagnosed and treated my dog quickly and professionally. Staff were professional and friendly, and took care of things without delay. Very happy with the service and outcome of my visit. Would return and recommend.

Bless Dr. Rosely, Kira, Laura and the staff at Avonlea:) My little man, Butterscotch, a 16 year old Scottish Fold, has been a patient of Dr. Rosely for more than ten years. I know I can trust his care to these wonderful and truly dedicated professionals.
Buddy (short for Butterscotch... and because he is the best buddy anyone could ever ask for) just had a small surgery today and now he is home and doing great! When he was diagnosed with fatty liver disease a couple of years ago I told Dr. Rosely that I planned to syringe feed him by hand for as long as it took for him to recover. She was so encouraging

Terrible. Shame on us for not removing our pets from this place earlier. 11 years of us being spoken to like we're incompetent. Our last visit was the last straw. No bed side matter or customer service. Without having another vet lined up, we canceled our appointments and asked for our files. I'm ashamed that we let this animal hospital treat us the way they did for so long.
