Greenbank Veterinary Services is proud to serve the Edmonton Alberta area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Ann Greenbank, who is a licensed, experienced Edmonton veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Dr. Rivas graduated in 1997 from U.V Lisandro Aivardo in Venezuela. She has worked in small animal clinics in Virginia and New York since 2001. In 2006 Dr. Rivas moved to Canada and joined our team. She has worked with both small animals and exotics. Over the years she has taken a special interest in surgery along with ultrasound and endoscopy procedures.
Greenbank Veterinary Services in Conjunction with ICSB has been a full service breeding facility since 1994. Dr. Greenbank was the first in the area to provide these services and is recognized worldwide for her knowledge and services provided. We love working with dog breeders. We are also happy to have Board Certified Cardiologist Dr. Kim Hawkes available for OFA Cardiac screeding and puppy exams here at the clinic.

Super friendly staff, and excellent prices. I just wish the vet had take a bit more time to explain my dogs new medical condition, we had to take him to an emergency clinic and that vet told us sooo much more and what to watch for, how to check his respiratory rate, they were actually surprised his regular vet hadn't explained all of this to us already.

I've been going to Greenbank for almost 2 years, and I haven't been more satisfied with a vet, being involved in Edmonton dog scene I am pretty familiar with some of the larger vets in the city and hands down I 10 out of 10 recommend Greenbank. Greenbank Veterinary clinic is a great place to take your pet. the people are very personable and courteous. You can see they love working with animals. My English Mastiff isn't afraid to go with one of the technicians; she is only 12 weeks old. When we pull up in front of the building, she is delighted to get inside.
I trust the people at Dr Geenbanks vets to take good care of my puppy.

I can’t sing praises about this vet clinic enough. Dr. Rivas and her staff, including front staff and everyone else have continuously gone above and beyond to help me and my terminal cancer dog. I’ve been going… to Greenbank since my dog was a puppy 7 years ago, and he was unfortunately diagnosed with a terminal cancer last year. Through that, Dr. Rivas agreed to participate in a clinical trial I brought to her, and even gave up a lunch break to fit my dog in when he wasn’t doing well at all. Lil miss wookie was misdiagnosed at two different vets so... we came to you for a third opinion and thank god we did, it wasn’t a back issue it was her pelvis..... couple adjustments later and we have our beloved pet back to herself, thank you so much for your expertise...amazing and would absolutely recommend!!

I had the hardest time when you have to make the decision to let go of my best friend. Dr green bank and team made this hard decision during covid
the best they could for bebe my little man .This will be a change you have to consider . I was with my boy right to his end of life. My daughter was able to hold are boy . So she held him till we had to hand him to the ladys .IT was not easy you are not able to hold walk in with him. The ladys let me had him with his familys blanket. They were aware my mother passed away with the same blanket.We made sure he passed on

I want to give an acknowledgement to the doctors and staff at the Greenbank Veterinary Clinic. They have always made my dogs and I feel like family. Greeting them with pets and treats, reassuring them that everything is ok; and the doctors taking their time to listen and never making you feel rushed. We are so happy we were referred to Greenbank Veterinarian Services. We brought our 4month old shelties in for their shots and Dr. Greenbank is just so kind and confident and willing to answer questions. I remarked that the clinic has no smell of animals what so ever, which is remarkable! Everyone is so kind and engaged with everyone who comes in. Huge shout out to Ann and her staff they are amazing and always so helpful. my females temperature started declining on saturday night a few days earlier than due date (day57) and did not yet have the on call… vet as our xray and info appointment wasnt till tuesday but Ann took my message to make sure I had the number in case we need her or dr Reyes on sunday if an emergency arrives. best repro care team a breeder could ask for!

My beautiful boy Ronin had a slice under his tongue and ended up needing surgery. Dr. Rivas was amazing and left nothing unexplained. The staff were kind and super friendly. They give you the “good” and the “bad” case scenario when informing about the cost and they still presented a bill $100 cheaper! I will continue to go to Greenback Vet from now on. Very very satisfied. Ronin was treated like a member of their own.
