Pets played an important role in my life as I was growing up - and this bond inspired me to be a veterinarian. As a veterinarian, I am blessed to live this bond every day through the pets that walk in my door. It is this connection that allows me to focus on their overall well-being in a holistic approach.
We aspire to have the highest standards in veterinary medicine so we can provide the best care for your pets. Our team is always updating their skills and working to stay informed with the latest veterinary medicine research. Our clinic offers a large array of services to serve the many needs of our furry patients.
We recommend annual complete nose-to-tail physical examinations for dogs and cats in order to identify underlying conditions that can impact their overall health. At your pet's checkup, Dr. McGrath will review their history and take the opportunity to make recommendations designed to proactively keep your pet healthy.
We recommend spaying and neutering all dogs and cats unless you plan on breeding or showing them. Our spay and neuter program focuses on your individual pet's comfort and safety. Your pet will be well taken care of by our team, with our clinic's state-of-the-art surgical suite and monitoring equipment.

Hello to anyone considering seeking veterinary treatment with a senior, middle-aged or new journey with a puppy. I cannot recommend Dr. Tina and her team enough regarding their commitment to my lab Gus. I came to them with a struggling lab with some severe hurdles to pass and the need to accommodate the gap within traditional veterinary medicine. Specifically, Gus suffered from a previous injury, which resulted in arthritis and weight gain. Gus enormously benefited from the aquatic treadmill therapy, hands-on physiotherapy treatments, and exercises to target any weaknesses. Bronte Village Animal

The team at Bronte Village is absolutely amazing and has gone above and beyond in the care of my dogs! I've been with them for four years and now drive over an hour to them because I haven't found comparable care. They have helped my dogs through several difficult issues and are dedicated to making sure my dogs are just as excited to walk through their doors when covid restrictions I have to hand off their leashes. All of my dogs, including my very reserved shepherd, love all of the staff- my lab even jumps around in excitement as soon as she gets out of the car! Dr. Tina is very educated and takes

Having had dogs all my life and going to a number of vets over the years, some good, some not so good, Dr Tina is the first vet I've met who treats our dogs with as much care as we do. Her availability isn't unlimited because she treats every four legged family member personally. I'recommend her and her practice unconditionally.

We used to bring our pup, Abby, to a vet near our home. But, when she tore her cruciate and needed surgery we were referred to Bronte Village Animal Hospital. Dr Tina, and all the staff members we have met there, are lovely and informative. They helped us through Abby's rehab after her surgeries, when we were totally devastated, and had no idea how to help our pup. We are so pleased with Abby's recovery and the quality of care we receive at Bronte Village that we drive from Hamilton to Oakville in order to go for our yearly check ups. Abby doesn't hesitate to go see Dr. Tina, and often ends up

Just before Christmas my doggie love of my life started showing sings of something major going on with her body, she continued to decline until we said goodbye over the holidays. This was one of the worst times in my and my family's life. Dr. Tina was absolutely amazing. While Dr. Tina, and her family were enjoying Christmas holidays, my "Olive" was being monitored every day, Dr. Tina took time out from her family to examine and try all she could for Olive and kept her comfortable. Despite what she was going through and the pain she must have been feeling, Olive was ALWAYS so very happy to visit

I recently adopted a nine year old diabetic cat from the Oakville Humane Society. The Bronte Village animal hospital is very close to my home, so I took Scarlett there for her initial vet assessment. I've been in a few times and the very friendly staff remember me and who my pet is whether I have Scarlett with me or not. Dr. Tina is very accommodating and Scarlett likes her and is great with her. The information Dr. Tina has given me has been incredibly helpful as I learn to take care of my first cat. Very positive experience.

My family started seeing Dr. McGrath 5 years ago at a different clinic and we have found the level of care she provides to our cat to be unparalleled. We have followed her to the Bronte Village Clinic knowing that she will continue to provide quality health care to our 14 year old cat. He has a chronic health condition that in the past caused him… to be very ill, but Dr. McGrath has provided us with the education we needed to be able to identify changes in his condition in order to better monitor his health and seek treatment when it is needed. Our cat has not experienced any extreme episodes

We switched to this clinic because of its proximity. We were content with our previous vet, but it was just too far. Bonus: Dr Tina is a competent, knowledgable and kind vet backed up by a friendly and caring team. Our senior dog successfully sailed through dental surgery here and is being monitored for other issues, some of which have never been… identified. We will soon introduce our shy cat to her skilful scrutiny. The clinic environment is lovely..and the waiting room bears no resemblance to typical clinics with uncomfortable chairs. Happy she has moved to the 'hood.

Dr. McGrath is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Her passion for her clients is shows in the time she takes to educate pet owners. Recently, she gave annual visits and shots to our cats and two days later our new puppy had a well puppy visit. Dr. McGrath showed patience with reluctant felines as well as an exuberant puppy. I have confidence in her advice as I know she takes her patients seriously and is always continuing her education so she can be the best in her field.
