I had a great massage with Sandeep -- probably the best I've had in Calgary. He is evidently knowledgeable about the body as a system and used that knowledge to identify areas of stiffness, pain and scar tissue that I didn't even realize I had. It wasn't a relaxation type massage and there were definitely moments of tenderness/discomfort, but you can feel that those are the areas that need to be worked on. I left feeling so much looser and balanced. No one has ever been able to provide this much relief for my chronic neck/shoulder pain! Definitely recommend!

I went here for some quick pain relief before my move and they were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. My therapist assessed my pains and my medical needs before beginning any treatment, she helped me to understand my scoliosis better. The massage was tough but exactly what was needed to help align my body better. Would defiantly recommend, they know what they're doing.

Had a massage with Sandeep. It was excellent. Don't get me wrong, it was therapeutic and painful at times but completely worth it. I had about 6 hours one afternoon before flying out of Calgary and started to contact clinics to get a massage. Much harder to do in Calgary than where I'm from. I wasn't really a fan of their automated text booking system but that has nothing to do with the massage itself. Sandeep found problem areas that I or my Ottawa massage therapist wasn't even aware of. His knowledge of anatomy combined with his massage skills made for the best massage of

I had a great massage by Constantine the other night. They even fit me in the day of and I have a detailed conversation with the owner of the company. The location is quiet warm and clean. It was nice to be accommodated and also they do 2 hour massages as I have a fast growing janitorial business so my body needs deep tissue service often. I contacted Why Knot via Yelp for a same day appointment for my husband and me that afternoon. Allison got back to me quickly and booked us for 5:30 pm. She also kindly gave us parking tips.
My massage was with Sandeep who was incredibly strong and knowledgable. He gave me the deep tissue massage that I was looking for which left me feelng wonderfully relaxed. My husband raved about his masseuse, Konstantin.
The price for each was CAD96 plus tax for an hour which felt very fair given the high quality of the massages.
Definitely recommend!

I visited this spot yesterday, and my sore back and muscles are thanking me that they finally found relief! I have scoliosis, so therapeutic massage is a necessity for me to maintain a healthy spine. I've been on the hunt for a great massage therapist in Calgary, and I'm happy that I've found one in Shauna. I will only review about the second time I visited Why Knot although I would like to mention that my first one was very disappointing with my first therapist not meeting my expectations. I gave them another chance and chose Kaaren because she was one of the therapist that was available on a Saturday which was the most convenient time for me. Kaaren is a miracle worker! I have a very tight back and she worked wonders on me. She was so patient with getting the knots out and made sure that by the end of my session I was better than when I came in. I was sore for 2 days but it was a good kind of sore

I was only in town for two days and could have really used a massage. I wanted to be sure to find a reputable place, because this is my first time getting a prenatal treatment and I needed to feel safe. I chose Why Knot based on their yelp reviews, their website, and their proximity to downtown.
I left a message on Saturday morning and Allison called me back almost right away. She was such a sweetheart to move some appointments around to fit me in. Jen even came in early on the Sunday to accommodate the hour treatment.

Allison is amazing. She is really welcoming and I felt very comfortable right away at the studio. The studio has a small reception area with complimentary water and tea, a coat rack, and a reception desk. Then you walk into the next room to the heated massage bed. The massage was amazing. It was a little painful, but felt so good at the same time. I would highly recommend Allison. For your first time getting a massage at Why Knots, you should definitely fill out the questionnaire online and bring a printed copy, saves time. She is a great masseuse! I feel massage drunk after i leave her place LOL! Not a typical spa cheesey massage place, very cool hip place. I love her decor and the music- very relaxing and trendy in the same! My husband and I both go here and she gives fantastic massages and its great therapy as well- not just the touchy feely stuff.
