We are a general dental practice focused on family and cosmetic dentistry. We look forward to being of service to you and your family. Dr. Matthew S. Fecica and Dr. George V. Proud, together with their team of experienced dental staff, provides the highest standard of professional care in a friendly, comfortable and fully accessible environment.
Prior to completing his dentistry degree, Dr. Fecica obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Waterloo. He is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations. He is also an involved supporter of his local dental society.

As a new patient, your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to Dr. Fecica and Dr. Proud and our caring team. Your first appointment at our office is called a New Patient Exam (NPE). It is our office philosophy at Westwoods Dental that prior to any treatment a comprehensive NPE be completed.
Scheduling an appointment at Westwoods Dental can be done by phone or in person. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM along with alternating Fridays from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM for hygiene services. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or are experiencing an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

Excellent doctors and staff! We had an emergency this morning and the staff was very nice to put us in although we didn't call or make any reservation. The receptionist is super nice, and the doctor is very professional. The work was done in a very professional way and my mom was very pleasant with everything at the dentist. Thank you very much!

Very caring staff who are truly vested in the patient and use the most current technology to support the best patient experience and care. My family were patients of Dr Proud’s and the transition was seem less. The fact that staff stayed speaks to a positive work environment. It feels like family when I go in.

Dr Matt keeps up with new technologies and procedures I have had many types of procedures done at Westwood Dental. Every experience has been positive. The healthcare team is top notch. Hygienists are great and friendly. Administrative staff are courteous and explain financial options and assist with interpreting insurance coverages. I would definitely recommend this dental team to anyone looking for a great dental provider.
