Services
David was born and raised in New Brunswick. After graduating from McGill with a dental degree in 1989, he spent a year associating at an office in Ottawa. In 1990, he took over his present office in Kingston. He has continued to take courses to keep himself current. He also received certification in Esthetic Dentistry from State University of New York(S.U.N.Y.) at Buffalo.
Because Dr. Tessier believes that the best teeth are your own, he will perform many different procedures to make sure you keep your teeth. He will recommend a treatment or procedure to restore or replace a tooth that has been lost or damaged or to improve the appearance, health and function of your teeth.
For dental emergencies we always try to see you the same day or within 24 hours, to evaluate the problem, get you out of pain, and schedule the necessary treatment for the problem. Government issued I.D., Driver's License, or OHIP card for prescriptions as I.D. is now required by law. Dental insurance card if you have coverage.
Patient satisfaction and comfort is our priority. Our staff is committed to providing exceptional service before, during and after your treatment. Before any procedure, we explain the process by using a variety of visual aids to enhance your learning. During the procedure, we make every effort to make you comfortable.
Along with a regular dental exam, brushing and flossing are the most important things you can do for your dental health. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. Regular and thorough brushing removes the plaque that causes gum disease and decay. Brushing your teeth isn't complicated. Use a soft brush with rounded bristles.
