Halwell Mutual Insurance Company's roots go back to the Puslinch Mutual which was established in 1859, the first of three mutual companies, including The Eramosa Mutual, established in 1861, and Halton Union Farmers established in 1890 that eventually amalgamated to form Halwell Mutual Insurance Company in 1967.

I purchase a car on Tuesday and I left a message with Jessa that I need to have it insured to get a trip permit. It is only good for 6 days from purchase. Have not heard anything back from her. I also asked if I could have the renal for a few more days. Never heard back. The owner was going to get it certified that morning at CT. They were all booked up. He could have made an appointment for the next day or so. We just bought it without it being done, because had to have the rental back that night. I am not very pleased at all. Do not have their clients best interest. Will take your hard earned $ at a very high rate, for seemingly no reason ( if you shop around yourself and do not rely on a broker you will see yourself)
Also one of the 13% of insurance companies in Canada that did NOT help their customers with any sort of support during covid, hard times show true colours just a heads up
