She has always felt a special affinity for cats, and here at Central Cat Hospital, she has been privileged to be able to hone and focus her skills on her favourite species. She was inspired to become a feline specialist by her late beloved calico cat, Ginny. Dr. Cheung rescued Ginny from the animal shelter in Oakville in 1996 before graduating from OVC, and they were inseparable until the end.

The best vet for cat, hands down!!! Dr. Cheung, Dr. Patrick , and all support staff here are truly amazing and with their utmost care and love, my 6 year old Persian male kitty Sher-khan is on the way to recovery after suffering from IBD.I can't thank Central Cat enough. I highly recommend this clinic. I have been taking my cats here since my very first one (5 or so years ago). Everyone at the clinic is friendly and professional -- you can trust that the vets and vet techs always act in your cat's best interest, and that they care about your cat's health as much as you do. CCH specializes in cat care and because of this are very knowledgeable about the issues that could possibly be affecting your cat's health. Both of my cats stay happy and healthy thanks to the care they receive here. Thank you Dr. Cheung and everyone at CCH!

I've been to many different vets - I will 'shop around' until I find one that I completely trust and feels right, and Central Cat Hospital is the vet I choose to bring my fur baby to in London. I appreciate the time they take to explain things, I haven't felt rushed, and the prices aren't through the roof. Truely, Thank you CCH!!

I never actually brought my kitten in
Because....
I called with my sick kitty
That i had just got droped off 6 weeks old
And they could not get me in for 2 weeks
Then wanted me to send a e transfer to hold the spot in two weeks .
My kitty ended up needing 3 differnt medication 💊
Seen by another vet of course .
So as far as emergency service goes I give them a C-

I cannot recommend Central Cat Hospital enough! As a new cat owner, they have been unbelievably supportive and kind. They take the time to answer all my questions and offer amazing advice. You can tell they really care about the individual animal, and not just the $$$. They even call to check up on your cat days after your visit! So happy I found such an amazing vet for my kittens.

Our little one had been suffering from an upper body respiratory infection brought on by FIV. After visiting the vet friday he showed a few signs of getting better however Sunday night to Monday morning he took a turn for the worst. After contacting the vet again and getting an appointment Tuesday evening we can safely say he's on a very strong path to recovery!! Simply due to Dr. Cheung and her team we went from thinking we would have to put our boy down to seeing him come back to life and we couldnt be happier ♡♡♡

Great team with advanced cat handling skills. They're able to do procedures much quicker with less stress to cats. Our cats were calmer without dogs present. Very willing to discuss things with cat owners. With diagnosis and medication, our senior orange tabby, Cheeto, gained back some muscle and weight. Sweet black and white clinic cat Pippa IS the prettiest paperweight!

Today was Yasha's and my first ever vet appointment together and my first as a pet owner. Dr. Cheung and staff were friendly and helpful (especially over the phone earlier in the week when we encountered a… small problem I wasn't sure about) and I really appreciate that there was no pressure on me to make any big decisions right away or spend money on extra costs that may only be necessary down the road. Yasha really seemed to like Dr. Cheung, so I know she's in good hands and I won't feel nervous when I bring her back next year for her check up. 😸

I had to change my last review. Dr. Cheung and her staff are amazing! My senior kitty has been having some medical issues for the last year or so and they've been nothing but the best. They do what they can to squeeze him in for an appointment, go over all available options and aren't judgemental if you have to go with a cheaper option. They are quick at getting back to you with information and results and they care about the cats like they were their own.
