Foundation Rehabilitation Service
Pan Am Clinic began operation as a private facility in 1979, focusing on athletes and sports-related injuries. It has evolved to deliver a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal care to patients from a range of backgrounds and ages, emphasizing rapid response, early and aggressive treatment, and improving patient outcomes.

The Sports Medicine Team Approach has been the key factor in Pan Am Clinic's success. By 1986, the Poseidon building doubled its size to 12,000 ft2 followed by a second expansion in 1993, bringing the clinic to 20,000 ft2. In 2001, it was determined that the next step in the evolution of the successful operation would be to serve its patients from within the public health system.
Services
When you arrive in Minor Injury Clinic (MIC) your condition will be assessed by a nurse. A clerk will then ask you for demographic information and will provide you with a same-day return time. Patients with the most urgent issues will be given priority. You are welcome to leave the clinic or you may choose to stay.
The Pan Am Clinic and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority believe your health is a private matter. We collect, record, store, use or disclose any facts about you and your health in keeping with Manitoba's Personal Health Information Act. If you cannot print the form, please phone the Health Information Services Department at 204.925.1543 and we will fax or mail the form to you.
You may book your own appointment by calling us at 204.927.2699 or you may be referred by your family doctor and an appointment will be booked for you. Your family doctor should mail or fax a referral letter to our office, and we will contact you directly once an appointment has been booked for you.
The Pan Am Pain Clinic is pleased to offer a 2-session pain self-management education program open to all patients after they attend their initial medical appointment. As an important part of our multidisciplinary approach to treatment, we strongly recommend that all patients attend. We also welcome the attendance of significant others (eg, spouse, family member, or close friend) who are in a supportive role.
Once the same day appointment capacity has been reached, the Minor Injury Clinic will be closed to non-urgent walk-in patients earlier than posted hours. However, urgent patients may still be seen. Our team of health professionals can provide expert assessment and treatment for patients with acute injuries such as sprains, cuts, bruises, and fractures that do not require hospitalization.

Was here 2 years ago when i dislocated my shoulder. It was hurting really bad and asked a reception for how long to wait. They said that if i truly dislocated my shoulder, I would be crying. Extremely rude and unprofessional. They took an xray and told me to keep my arm in the pocket

Called to make an appointment. Was on hold for 20 minutes, then a message arrives where I can leave my name and number for the clinic to call me back. It’s been 26 hours…..

Do not go here. They are extremely unprofessional with their management of time. They will tell you ro come back at a later time and then make you wait an additional couple of hours in the parking lot. An then once yoi do get the call its ANOTHER wait in the lobby. Then you get the staff who never seems to have any answers for your questions as to y it is taling them so long just to get a person in or y they are not following their own schedule. If it was any way possible to give a lower rating i would have

I will not be returning nor do I recommend. I visited this clinic for an injury. Rude, insensitive, and basically accused me of lying regarding my injury. I overheard one doctor discussing another patient in the hallway to a colleague (not the patients name or detailed medical issues) Insensitive comments regarding the patient. Poor, inexcusable behavior.
My daughter drove me to another clinic for my injury. I was treated with kindness, the doctor thoroughly examined me, sent me for a test, and discussed a treatment plan for my injury. I'm on the road to recovery. Why isn't management at Pan Am

My friend went to the client as he had a back injury. He is currently in a work permit. The clinic charged him $966 and described it as ‘uninsured non resident clinic service fee’. When he asked them what is the fee for, they said it was a service fee and couldn’t elaborate more. My friend is a resident of Manitoba (temporary resident- work permit).
I am not sure how an average full time worker can pay such a fee. The clinic didn’t even describe the fees in detail. Moreover, this fee was on top of the doctors fee of $90. This has to change.

Some of the most non compassionate medical “professionals” I’ve ever encountered. They truly do not care about their patients.

This place really looks after you. If you have back problems, knee problems, hip and legs. The doctors are the best. Having other businesses on site is really cool. Diamond Athletics is on site which alot of the braces and bandages you need. This place also has a cafe but not open at this moment because of the pandemic. You can not wait inside with a family member unless given permission in advance. Lots of parking and it is free. Place has really helped my dad who is 92 years old with a bad back.

I felt like I was in hell. They yelled at me, get out if I would not pay extra $966. I was unfairly discriminated against and ignored.
I regretted going to the clinic for a week and was distressed.
I hoped that it was a nightmare but it was reality.

Well organized, professional service and conduct. Very pleased, when bad service is so common, it is very refreshing to have such a good medical experience!

When I had hurt my left leg on November 8, 2020, at first I was hesitant because of the COVID pandemic, to go to hospitals and ended up going to the Pan Am Clinic instead. My hubby took me to the walk in and I received my appointment time. When I returned for the appointment, The staff & nurses were very welcoming! After meeting Dr Storoschuk and his resident - I knew I had made the right choice of coming to Pan Am. They were both very professional & thorough. Upon having X-rays taken, it was determined that I had a clean break in my tibia near my knee. I was fitted with a non-weight

Despicable Wannabe Tyrant woman at the front door. Disgusting. I cancelled all of my future appointments here.

I walk in at 7:36 for my physio appointment at 7:40 this morning. Meet eyes with one of the covid cops in a smock and walk up to him. He asks if I have an appointment, I say "yes, physio..." and I'm interrupted mid sentence by this woman who says I need to sanitize my hands. I say "no, it's ok" because I had just sanitized my hands outside and finished my sentence to the covid cop saying that the nurses had already asked if my 'covid details' had

I'm not sure of the exact dates now, but I came in 2 times for the same issue between 2015-2016. Recurring severe pain in low back. Saw Dr.peters everytime. Dr.peters insisted I was using my back wrong and to change how I work. I had several lost time incidents from work because of this. He refused to request MRI, refused to acknowledge that I had a legitimate issue. I went to emergency for this problem late in 2016, they requested MRI, found severe SI joint issue, leg length discrepancy of 4.5cm. I am now recovering because of physio based on MRI result. Heins Peters wasted years of my time

The actual doctor himself was extremely pleasant and helpful, very fast as well. And the actual nurse that took all my details to give to the doctor was nice as well. As for everyone else working there (all the other women who were rotating positions, ie. at both desks, checking people in, telling them when to come back for there appointments, etc.), some of the rudest most unpleasant people I have ever encountered in my life. I will never understand why people would choose to not only work in the health care field, but just around people in general, if you so blatantly do not like people, do not
