Hi there, I'm Alex. I started thinking about naturopathic medicine as a career at an early age, when debilitating sports-related pain was resolved by a kind and gentle naturopath who, along with our family doctor, made up my family's health team. Throughout high school and university, I kept coming back to the idea when I wasn't considering veterinarian.

I have been practising as a naturopathic doctor in Guelph, for over 15 years and attending births as a doula for 10. I graduated from the naturopathic program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, and since then I have continued to learn through conferences and seminars, but mostly from all the amazing patients I have seen through the years.
Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie Cordes and I'm a naturopathic doctor with a keen interest in mental health, digestion, addiction, trauma, holistic care, and LGBTQ wellness. I am thrilled to join the talented team at Kura after years of running an independent practice. My goal is to set my clients up with the tools, skills, and knowledge they need to resolve and better manage their health challenges.
What a pleasure it's been to work as the Clinic Assistant here since 2005, when Dr. Alexandra was in solo practice as Verge Naturopathic Clinic. I have enjoyed the evolution of our clinic, including three moves and the addition of dedicated Naturopathic Doctors, Registered Massage Therapists, Food Sensitivity Testing Practitioners, Osteopaths and CranioSacral Therapists.
