Our mission is to provide the most stress-free, fear-free visit possible for you and your pet. We provide a holistic approach to pet care to help you nurture your relationship with your pet. Physical health, as well as mental and emotional well-being, are our focus as we offer positive, science-based behaviour treatment and training as well as veterinary healthcare.

Companion Veterinary Clinic offers dog training! We believe in a positive, science-based method of training that shows respect and kindness toward dogs. We are passionate about teaching clients how dogs think and what we can do as humans to strengthen the bond with our pets. Our hands-off approach to training allows dogs to trust their humans without the use of force and correction but instead uses motivation and understanding.
Companion Dog Training offers professional positive, science-based methods of training and behaviour modification. We work in all of our classes and private sessions to ensure your dog can focus on your on and off-leash. Our classes are fun, positive and designed to increase the bond between you and your dog!
Training your dog shouldn't be scary or painful. We focus on developing a strong bond between you and your dog based on trust and positive interactions. Whether you have a new puppy, an adult dog that needs to improve their focus with distraction or want to learn some fun tricks with your dog, we have multiple classes available.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability
I've come here twice now with our new puppy and couldn't be more impressed! Everyone is so friendly and kind to our puppy and you don't feel rushed during your appointment. I had a lot of questions and they took time to answer all of them. My puppy loved all the treats from the vet to the receptionist!! Highly recommended!

Amazing service. I did not have a local veterinarian and felt extremely comfortable immediately when calling to enquire if there was an emergency appointment available. The young lady who answered my call was kind and so very helpful. All of the office staff and Dr Amy showed such kindness, caring and compassion. I went in thinking I would have to put Hollywood down - Dr Amy kept assuring me she didn’t think it was time. Holly is now making a recovery. I am so thankful and highly recommend this clinic.

My first visit to this Clinic, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The staff are friendly, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable and attentive! From my first phone call, I was greeted with kindness and as able to get in the next day. Carmen was excellent upon arrival and got us set up in a room immediately. Dr. Latawiec was fantastic. She was kind, thorough, knowledgeable and caring. She was totally amazing while examining Cinnamon. I so appreciate everyone I came in contact with. Highly recommend this wonderful clinic.

We LOVE the training course provided here. One of our pet families was sent to attend the 'Cooperative Care Class: Calm, Confident and In Control' because our annual vet visits with them weren't going as great as we expected or hoped for. After attending this training course both doggo and mom are feeling really ready for their next vet visit. Our client found this course so helpful that she told us that "everyone with a new dog should take it" and we think so too! Thanks so much for providing such important and useful consent training!! My dog Harley is 10 months old and she has a fear of anyone trimming her nails. Samantha made Harley feel at ease by playing with her on the floor when she arrived and fed her treats which she LOVED. Her techniques to distract Harley as she sedated her so her nails can be trimmed were very effective. She even brought Harley a blanket to lay on in the examination room. Due to COVID I was not allowed into the clinic until now and I was very impressed with the care and love shown towards Harley. By far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a vet. You can tell they really care about the animal they have in front of them. My dog Jasper has some big anxiety issues, and they made sure that he was comfortable in every aspect of the vet visit. I had been putting off getting his last set of vaccines because of his anxiety leading to reactivity and I can honestly say that was the most easy vet visit by far. 10/10 would recommend this vet to anyone.

We have been seeing Dr. Benoit and his team since our big guy was 9 weeks old and he's now 8 years old and we can't thank the team at Companion enough for all the years of love, care and extraordinary care. Not only are they a fear free clinic, I never feel rushed, I can ask a million questions, and I know they truly care about my dog. The pricing here is very reasonable (coming from a family who doesn't have pet insurance) and we never feel like we are a walking dollar sign. I recommend them to everyone who has a pet and is looking for a vet.

The staff at the Companion Vet Clinic are so helpful and always very kind and patient. Buster loves going to the vet. The veterinarian are very experienced and extremely kind and gentle to the animals. They take the extra time and effort to go in detail about the problems your pet have and provide the best care. I have been going there with Buster since the day we adopted him and I would totally recommend this place for anyone who really wants to provide quality care for their furry family members.

I bring both my dogs here and am always extremely impressed with the help and service provided by the whole team at Companion Veterinary Clinic. The reminder calls, and check-up calls after bigger apppointments/treatment really makes us feel well taken care of.
The staff at the front always help us in a caring, professional and approachable manner and Dr.Benoit is very good at explaining things in a way we can understand and has a comforting relaxed approach, never making us nervous or uncomfortable to bring our dogs in.
We have moved across the city, however we will continue to return Companion
