Experience is the best qualification and we have tonnes of it! Since 1965, we have serviced over 10,000 building lots and completed 100's of municipal projects. The philosophies of our founder Anthony DeSantis were simple and still guide us today; "There is always a better way of doing things, and if the tools aren't available to do things better, we'll build our own."
Services
We have the muscle to move a lot of dirt fast, and we're smart about how we do it. Before touching the site, we plan our cuts to make every bucket count. Our Topcon GPS systems allow our operators to see themselves on a 3-D model allowing us to finish grade on the first pass with millimeter precision.
Provincial was one of the first, and remains one of the only licensed recycling facilities in the Niagara Region. In the 1980's, we identified future issues with the disposal of concrete and asphalt from our municipal reconstruction projects on the horizon. As such, in 1989, we purchased and began construction of our 20 acre Thorold Townline Road facility.
Whether it is 1 lot or 500 lots we are constantly looking for ways to add value beyond construction. Every aspect of subdivision construction (as both owners and builders) is studied and fresh ideas are always brought to the table to improve efficiency and quality - saving our clients time and money.
In 2012, we identified an opportunity to grow our existing business by establishing our Heavy Civil Division. This allows us to leverage the talents of our in-house engineering staff, self-perform more of our critical path items, take on a more diverse array of projects, tailor innovative solutions to various municipal and private sector clients and provide challenging and rewarding work for our employees.
We enjoy the challenge, so in 2013 when an emergency outage created and opportunity to build 4 kilometres of HDPE watermain in 10 days, we jumped at it. We completed the installation in 5 days and haven't looked back since. We have now completed numerous water, sewage and leachate HDPE projects, and boast in-house HDPE fusion, welding and fabrication services.

The work of Provincial Construction resulted in significant and permanent structural damage to my home.
Not only did the company outright dismiss my plea for assistance in repairing the extremely costly damage they had done, they LAUGHED at me on the phone.
If you encounter this company, do not expect professionalism or accountability.
Absolutely appalling!

Although some are not excited about the excavations it is a necessity to repair replace the old water mains running through the city. Welland is in process of upgrade. From parts as old as 1920. One day at a time. In the end there will be wider sidewalks and bike lanes. As well as wider roads. With more space for our growing city.

While they have permits, the work they are doing on niagara St in welland is unwanted by all of the people who actually live on Niagara St.
I wanted to tell the workers how people feel, and the guy in charge started to chase my dog and I down the street like he was going to assault me.
They are rude and do a terrible job. And they might try to kill you if you dont like them.
