In May of 2020 my cat Sphinx developed a sudden illness. Prior to this she had zero health problems, she was 14 years old. My regular vet had lost their only doctor (I assume it was related to Covid) so they were only open to sell prescription food. I called an emergency vet clinic to let them know I was coming in after checking their wait times, and upon getting there 45 mins later was turned away because they had just had a dog with porcupine quills in his face come in. Panicked, I called my friend who called her vet, Heritage Hills clinic and they had me come in right away.

Wow !!! 687. dollars for an examination, blood test, urine sample. Dropped our kitty off for two hours. Thanks for reminding me why I quit you guys years ago, my fault I should of remembered, stupid me. All I can say is people shop around. They say shop local? Back to the vet we found on 50 St Edmonton. Lesson learned

Dr. Khehra, Carla, and the rest of the team are so amazing. They do everything in order to get you in, in a timely manner and I love that they call to follow up and see how your pet is doing. My pup is a nervous fella around vets, but I know there is no vet other than Dr. Khehra that would treat him with as much care and patience.

Heratige helped us a with a pretty sever injury. When taking our dog for a walk down in the ravine he got a deep puncture wound from a piece of rebar.
It was quite traumatic and severed both nerves and nipped an artery. Karla was quite helpful on the phone, as I was running to the car
Many other vets had no availability to see Bandit. Which i can understand as they book far in advance, it's just nice to get prompt service, especially in an emergency.

I really appreciate how Heritage Hills Veterinary Clinic has incorporated Covid protocols. They collect your pet from your vehicle, return them when they're done, and bring the debit machine out to your car. If you need to speak directly to the vet, that is done over the phone while you wait in the car. It's all done very efficiently, effectively and safely.

Took my dog here in an emergency situation, he had been bitten by another, much larger, dog. Heritage Hills Vet got him in right away, and kept me completely informed with more than one phone call regarding his situation and their medical choices. I was in such a distraught state, crying on the phone and the woman was so kind to me! Such great bedside manner from her, really appreciated her compassion and understanding over my anxieties. Will definitely recommend this clinic to anyone.

We love the staff and atmosphere here. They were extremely compassionate when our cat and dog had to be put down. They made a sad situation much more bearable. Not cheap, but that's to be expected with veterinary care (in response to negative reviews on price). The vet is super sweet and the assistants are great ladies.
