Very happy with my first visit to this salon! Professional, friendly staff & reasonable price. I didn’t catch the name of my technician, but she was lovely. I showed her a picture of what I wanted & she was able to match it almost perfectly.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be back. The technician doing my nails was very good at shaping my nails, but when it came to painting... was sub par.
I wasn't the easiest client to deal with, but I didn't think I was being unfair. I came in asking for a design (See picture) and the tech couldn't paint a simple flower (see picture). I spoke up and asked her to remove the flower and to just put any design on the nail (It's Valentines day! Of course I wanted something special). She told me there was no room on my nail (I have very long natural nails... so I didn't understand). She asked if I

Worst salon i've been to. i went in for a full set of acrylic nails. less than a week in, after paying close to $70, i had a broken nail (that broke at the apex as i was putting my seatbelt on) and a nail with a fracture. when i went to get them fixed they didn't charge me but made me feel like it was my fault and they were doing me a favour. then, two more broke off at the apex again a couple days later. this morning, two days after my last two broke off, i had another break off at the apex while taking my jacket off. they don't use enough acrylic when building the nail and don

I’ve been going here for 8 years, all of the ladies are absolutely wonderful and so nice. Karen does an incredible job, I go to see her for bio gel nails. Anne & Minh also do an awesome job. Nikki is a pedicure master! I moved to Milton and I still make the drive back to Oakville because I can’t find any other place that compares. The ladies are the best!

Been going here for years used to be a great place. Last time I went I got charged an extra 5$ because she said my nails were in bad shape and caused her extra work, even though none of my nails were broken. As someone who went every two weeks regularly I think this is ridiculous. Way to gouge your regular clientel. Definitely trying somewhere new from now on. Very unfortunate as some of the ladies are so nice and do a good job not worth the extra price.

I stopped in to look at this shop and it looked good at first glance so I went in for a mani/pedi. I wanted shellac in a light purple and I selected my colour from the sample tree. The lady went to find it but came back and told me they didn't have that one. She showed me the selection and they only had about 25 bottles- less than half of the colours on the tree. Disappointing, but I had backup colour choices. After 4 choices were not available the 5th one was the winner.

My friend and I came to Beauty Tips after looking for a nail salon that was open on Family Day after having brunch together. We looked up this salon and upon arrival it was pretty busy but we both squeezed in for a pedicure. The decor of the salon was nothing special - typical nail salon with a bunch of mix match items! We were treated quickly and our pedicures were also pretty quick. Same scrub and little legs massage as usual salons, but they buy a little baggie of warm cream on our heels and left it while they painted out toenails. Not sure what it was for and I've never seen that before

Finally, a decent manicure place in Oakville!
Over my few years in Oakville, I have yet to find a reliable manicure/pedicure spot, but I'm hoping Beauty Tips & Spa is it, as based on other reviews it's been reliable for some time.
I got a pedicure ($30) which was really thorough including a great massage, paraffin treatment, and cuticle work. I'm really satisfied with it!
I'm looking forward to trying some nail art next time, as I've heard they are pros with that as well!

I've been going to Beauty Tips and Spa for more than 3 years now. They're the best salon I have ever been to. Every one of the staff are so talented and know what they're doing. They offer a lot of services from regular manicure and pedicure to 3D acrylic nail art and eye lash extensions and not to forget hair removal! Everyone is so sweet and kind and they really listen to your needs and go above and beyond to make sure their clients are happy and satisfied. I honestly don't trust anywhere else and tell everyone and anyone to give them a try. Thanks girls!

I found this place by googling it about 2 years ago....needed a place that could handle my crazy designs and KAREN is the lady to go to! I've been going to her for 2 years + and will not go anywhere else! She has some next level talent and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy! even if she needs to start all over again!

Booked a last minute appointment for shellac removal and shellac manicure.
My nail tech was quick, maybe too quick. She was distracted and talking to the nail tech beside her in rapid Mandarin. She pretty much ignored me the whole time. If you are going to just treat me like a pair of hands attached to a body then turn the damn tv on. I don't want to stare at you while you rush through my manicure and chat with your friend. She only did two coats and didn't ask if I was happy with the shape, # of coats, end result. Nothing! You are providing a service make sure you do it right.

Went this morning for the first time, they were quick, ready, clean n the lady was checking frequently if i like it or not, which was great! I only had a normal manicure n pedicure. Next time will def try having nail art done!! In addition, when i sent them an email, the responded n booked my appoint!

LOVE! I've had shellac done before and it was awful, but I tried this place on a whim and I will be returning regularly on a monthly basis now. The lady I had (Lily?) was so focused and made my nails look perfect before applying the shellac. The whole manicure took close to an hour as she was such a perfectionist and my shellac lasted 3 WHOLE WEEKS. I never thought that would even be possible, but it didn't chip, nothing. My mom also got her nails done at the same time and they lasted even longer than mine. We took the shellac off at home to save money and both of our nails were so long
