The time has come, and as I am now retiring, I wanted to take this opportunity to send a special thank you to all my wonderful patients and their families. It has been a distinct privilege, and indeed a pleasure, to assist you with all your dental needs at the Leigh Smile Center in Westlock over the past 25 years.
Dr. Barter grew up in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador. After high school he attended and graduated from St. Francis Xavier University, in Nova Scotia in 1990 with a Diploma in engineering. He continued on to Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he graduated in 1994 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and joined the military.
Dr. Highmoor went to dental school at the University of Manitoba, where he graduated with a DMD in 2012. After a career as a dentist with the Canadian Forces, during which he moved around Canada he settled down with his family in Alberta. Dr. Highmoor is committed to delivering the best patient experience, communicating clearly and honestly, and providing top quality dental treatments.
