Services
We take a great deal of pride in ensuring that we are there for our patients, no matter how minor or complicated the concern may be. We are fully staffed Monday to Saturday throughout the year and provide a wide array of veterinary services. In 2003 spring, one cold morning 3 kittens were found, outside Hastings Veterinary Hospital's door, soon after clinic opening. The 3 kittens were put up for adoption following comprehensive veterinary evaluations and vaccination. One of those kittens, Midnight, rapidly adopted the hospital as her home and was always keen to open cage doors, so she could sit at the front desk and greet people just as she does now.
In the summer of 2006, staff at HVH initiated a pet photo contest to help celebrate our patients. We wanted to take a little peek into their lives and see all the goofy, cute, and adorable things they do, apart from being wonderful patients. From its humble beginnings, the annual pet photo contest has morphed into a big part of our yearly calendar.
Hastings Veterinary Hospital in Burnaby BC offers cat care for kittens, adults, and senior felines and takes your pet's needs seriously. We pride ourselves on making checkups and vaccinations as stress-free as possible. We offer surgical services when required, including routine spaying and neutering, as well as general surgery and feline dentistry.

The staff are so sweet and kind, great experience. My cats a new patient but I can guarantee I won't go to anyone else. I was in need quickly, and emergency fees are outlandish knowing this they got me in with a cancelation I was so greatful, I called around about 10 different places to get him in and everyone seemed so rude and impatient on the phone, but the staff here were genuinely so kind. The prices are extremely fair, very happy I found this place. Also its very clean!

This place! I had my doubts at first about this place. After my interaction with the vet and the staff as well as other ppl who have taken their animals there for many of years, I feel that I made the right choice. The vet answered all my questions as well as explained new things to me I had no clue about! I would fully recommend that you either take you fur baby here and if you don't have one recommend them to all your friends that have fur babies! Thank you Hastings vet hospital!

We LOVE the team at Hastings Veterinary Hospital, you can really tell that they care for your furry family members! The staff are always so friendly, kind, and patient and take the time to listen to your concerns and explain. I would give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could, my dog and cat are treated so well there that they are actually excited to go the vet!

The team at Hastings Veterinary Hospital is the best. We have trusted their expertise for over 3 years now. Everyone is so knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and the customer service is great. The email reminder/appointment system works well to make sure that my best friend Marcus is always up to date. I highly recommend this vet for all of your furry friends needs!

I never write reviews unless I’ve genuinely had an extremely wonderful or extremely terrible experience. This is my experience with Hastings Vet for an 11-week old puppy. I’m still extremely upset about what happened and took me a couple weeks to think and consider if it’s even worth my time to write a review. I really do not recommend this vet for… puppy vaccinations.
Prior to bringing our new puppy home, my s/o and I did a LOT of research and phoning different vets to get a general vibe and feel for each one. We just inquired about their vaccination programs and whatnot

Hastings veterinary hospital has by far the best service. They are all so polite and kind. The patience that these doctors have for animals is incredible. My dog is very anxious about going to the vet, he knows… exactly where he is but they always seem to make him feel calm and relaxed during his visits. There doctors are amazing!! 10/10 would recommend.

Today we said good bye to our fur baby Star. What a terrible time for all of us. The entire staff including the Doctors have been nothing but professional, caring and respectful to us and our animals. Thank you each and everyone of you for everything you did for Star 💕. Carly, Veronica and Dr. Bajwa walked us through a tough day and we thank you.

When we had to have our 12 year old cat, Lilli, put down recently everyone at the clinic was so kind, caring and understanding yet professional it made things much easier to bear. After discussions and deciding this was the right course of action to take, the euthanasia procedure was fully explained to us, we were then taken into a separate quiet room where we were allowed to spend as much time as we needed, at each step of the procedure, to stay with our little lady and say goodbye to her properly. She went very peacefully and it was definitely as good an experience as having to have your cat
